What a strange major Sunday. All the credit to Rai who deserved it, but felt like we were set up for an all-timer and it fell flat

Wow. So nodding means I said it does it Eamon? I absolutely do think that people with a vested interest, or those influenced by them, are trying to ‘will’ LIV out of existence. As someone who voices his own opinion so regularly, you don’t seem that open to being challenged..
Eamon Lynch@eamonlynch

You nodded along with David’s comment and followed him by saying people were determined to will LIV out of existence, as if the league needed help on that. Perhaps the Kool Aid impacts your faculties, but I don’t work for the PGA Tour. Nor for any entity that murders people.

Rich Learner asking “why did LIV fail to catch on in the United States?” After spending 5 years on a show actively campaigning against it at every level - using influence over fans, sponsors and networks. Gee, I wonder.🤔🙄🙄🙄 @inuspga @GolfChannel

NEW: Talked w/Harold Varner III about the players meeting this week in Virginia. Takeaway: “Basically, Scott’s got to do his job and come through. And he’s got full belief and is fully confident that he can pull it off and raise some funds…” Full chat:youtu.be/jyUqddof6NY?si…

Why do people keep saying that no one attends LIV Golf Tournaments or just attend for the concerts ? This is the first shot of the day.

Throughout all the recent commentary on pro golf tours and what will happen and what has happen- one truly wild thing is those who don’t think pro golfers make decisions based on maximising their income They are pRoFeSsiOnAls 🤦🏻

I'm reading the @anirbangolf comments as: "Didn't like time on PGAT, but won't get into why out of respect for PGAT, and I am not interested in going back. Also not expecting many on LIV to go back if LIV ends." Why are we so grumpy with him? He got a bag on LIV, but what does that have to do with his like or dislike for the PGAT (and desire to return or not), where he also made good money?

"I learnt a lot about the business of golf and some of the things I learnt disillusioned me" Anirban has made $34.9m since signing with LIV in 2023. In that time, he has never been ranked in the top 60 in @DataGolf.

🚨🏌️🙅🏼‍♂️ #JOKE — In an exclusive with @thetimes, LIV Golfer Anirban Lahiri laughed off the theory LIV golfers are ready to jump ship and head back to the PGA Tour: “That is the biggest joke ever. I will not name names but I know at least a dozen players who’d rather not play golf than go back to the PGA Tour.” When asked what’s wrong with the PGA Tour, Lahiri said: “I’m not going to answer because I don’t want this to be a hate thing,” he says. “I played on the PGA Tour for seven years and really enjoyed my time there. I learnt a lot about the business of golf and some of the things I learnt disillusioned me. I’ll leave it at that. “That was enough for me not to want to go back, but that’s me personally. I’m sure others have different opinions of it and I respect that as well, but to generalise that everybody is falling over backwards to come back to the PGA Tour is the same kind of propaganda we’ve had for four years.”

The Tour does not need Bryson but it would benefit from him. Paying fines to rejoin your old employer doesn’t make sense to me as a business strategy. You are putting an artificial barrier between your business and adding value to your business, purely to stroke egos
Golf Channel@GolfChannel

"Bryson is daring the PGA Tour to go on without him. This is a high stakes game of chicken ... the Tour can go on without him." Agree with Ryan Lavner here? Fascinating discussion on Bryson, Brooks and the future of stars on the tour.
