Cancel the government proposal to introduce legislation banning talking therapies (under the guise of ‘conversion therapy’). 8. Sever the ‘LGB’ from the ‘T’ in all public policies and protocols. 9. Green Party candidate Heidi Cornish described a convicted murderer as having “a good sense of right and wrong”. She gave a glowing character reference in court for Luke D’Wit, who poisoned elderly couple Carol and Stephen Baxter with fentanyl, then planted a fake will to take over their business. D'Wit had gone to elaborate lengths to ingratiate himself with the Baxters, accompanying Mrs Baxter on walks and making her healthy smoothies at the couple's home in West Mersea. He even posed online as a doctor in the US, offering Mrs Baxter medical advice and support with a health condition, all the while lacing her drinks with drugs that were making her more unwell. Cornish, standing for the Greens in Colchester, has known D’Wit for 14 years and told jurors he “loves to be involved where people need him”. The Baxters’ daughter said she was shocked to see Cornish selected. Tories slammed it as “serious questions about their judgment”. Heidi Cornish, who is standing for Colchester City Council, was a character witness for Luke D'Wit at his murder trial in 2023, saying he had a 'good sense of right and wrong'

A bricklayer in East Yorkshire has spent 35 years installing nest boxes for barn owls in his free time. No grant. No organization behind him. Just Robert Salter, quietly building and mounting over 350 boxes across fields and farms on weekends, before and after work, for three and a half decades. This year was the second-best barn owl breeding season in the region in decades. 304 owlets counted. Last year there were 95. Barn owls have struggled across the UK for generations due to habitat loss, rodenticide poisoning, starvation from agricultural changes that eliminated the field margins where voles live, and collisions with vehicles on roads that cut through their hunting territory. In many parts of England, populations collapsed while nobody was paying much attention. One man paying attention changed the outcome for an entire region. "This bird has lived alongside humans since they settled in this country," Salter told the BBC. "Because of that close relationship, I just feel like we owe it to barn owls to help and maintain their future populations." The conservation story we usually tell involves governments, legislation, and international agreements. Those matter, but so does one person who decided a species deserved better and just kept showing up.

The Green Party is an actual danger to society on multiple fronts. Yesterday I spoke about Islamism and anti-Jewish hatred. Below you hear the Green Party leadership advocating for gender-affirming treatments for kids - chemical castration, if you will - with reference to a discredited WPATH "international standard". They also want to destroy women's sex-based rights & protections because "rights ain't a pie". The "bad faith actor" here is willful ignorance is the worst evil.
