Basically Pakistan just violated Afghan sovereignty to hit militants the Taliban won't deal with. TTP has been launching attacks into Pakistan from Afghan territory for years. Taliban refuses to crack down on them because they're ideologically aligned. So Pakistan said fuck it and sent jets across the border.
