This post has more words in it than Pauline Hanson's #OneNation's #Immigration policy. FACT. Pauline Hanson says, “people don’t feel safe anymore.” Who, exactly? Where? Doing what? This is how the grift always starts: assert fear first, define nothing, and let the listener fill in the blanks with whatever Sky News has been drip-feeding them this week. She then claims that “64% of Australians believe One Nation is the only party that can deal with immigration.” There is a poll she’s referring to - but let’s be clear what that actually means. It’s a small-sample, self-selecting survey, not a nationally representative poll. No transparent methodology. No weighting. No demographic breakdown. In other words: a vibe check among people already marinating in One Nation content. Quoting it as “Australians believe” is statistical cosplay. Now let’s talk about what One Nation calls its immigration policy. The entire thing clocks in at 299 words. Yes. Two hundred and ninety-nine. That is not a policy. That is a rant. It reads less like legislation and more like an unhinged text exchange between James Ashby and Barnaby Joyce at 11:47 pm after a long lunch and a longer grievance spiral. There is no modelling. No costings. No legal pathway. No explanation of enforcement mechanisms. Just slogans, threats, and magical thinking. • “Deport 75,000 illegal migrants” - with no definition of who, how, or under what legal authority. • “Cut immigration by 570,000” - without timeframes or economic impact. • “Deport any visa holder who breaks the law” - which collapses the entire concept of proportional justice. • “Refuse entry from nations with incompatible values” - legally vague, constitutionally combustible, and deliberately inflammatory. • “Withdraw from the UN Refugee Convention” - a move that would instantly torch Australia’s international standing. This isn’t governance. It’s punishment fan fiction. And the kicker? This post you’re reading contains as many words as her entire immigration ‘policy’. That alone tells you everything you need to know. One Nation doesn’t offer solutions. It sells fear, inflates anecdotes into crises, and calls it leadership. People absolutely have a right to feel safe. But feeling unsafe is not the same thing as being unsafe. Fear is not evidence. Tiny polls are not mandates. And 299 words of rage is not policy. It’s just louder nonsense, spoken slowly, and hoping no one counts the words. PS: Notice the jacket she's wearing? My ex-wife has one like it, cost $3,500 - Made by the same designer who made Linda Reynolds' jacket that got binned, we assume.

The only time @AlboMP paid tax, as opposed to living off it, was the nine months he spent working as bank teller between school and Uni. Raised in public housing, educated at public expense and straight into politics. He doesn’t have a clue.

#AngusTaylor thinks YOU, yes YOU 🫵 are as thick as a brick coated in liquid dumbness. He genuinely seems to believe you’ve got no memory, no intellect, and no ability to check the stream of spin that comes out of his mouth. Earlier, Angus Taylor appeared on the ABC to talk about fuel security. Yes. Fuel security. And then proceeded to do what he does best: spin, blur, and bulldoze the facts into something barely recognisable. Let’s deal with what he didn’t want you to notice: Fuel reserves? Consistently higher under Labor since 2022. That’s not opinion, that’s the official record. ⛐ → Petrol stocks: higher on average under Labor (since 2022) than any month under the LNP going back to 2016. ⛐ → Diesel stocks: almost 50% higher on hand in the same comparison period. So the “crisis” narrative? Doesn’t survive contact with the data. Then came the big-budget fantasy promise, quietly ballooning into something closer to $20 billion, not the $6 billion figure casually tossed out on air. A small rounding error… if you’re living in an alternate universe where numbers don’t matter. And here’s the kicker: he’s pitching this while the upcoming budget is already dealing with large parts of the same policy space. Which makes it look less like planning and more like retrospective credit-claiming. “We thought of it” energy. (You didn’t. Not when you were actually in government.) But he wasn’t finished. Next came the contortions around refineries and storage history, facts bent so far they’re practically auditioning for Cirque du Soleil. Then, with breathtaking confidence, he tried to drag inflation into it, implying it’s worse now than when he and his government handed over the keys. It isn’t. Inflation is down. At that point, the argument isn’t just weak, it’s disintegrating on live television. His whole performance had the consistency of something sticky and unpleasant you’d scrape off a shoe, except somehow delivered with absolute confidence. We’ll pull the footage and do a full breakdown with receipts, timestamps, and supporting data because this isn’t just spin, it’s repeat-pattern nonsense. If this is an audition for re-election, he might want to update the résumé. Possibly include “entry-level storyteller” or “budget nail technician specialising in political fungus removal.” Because right now? He’s not looking like a statesman. He’s looking like a bargain-bin version of Scott Morrison with worse timing and even looser grip on truth and reality. Coming soon: the footage, the claims, and the reality check, all served with commentary by NOISY + Facts and sources - Keep eyes peeled.

Hi all, I haven’t been on Twitter for a number of days. I am having a break from social media. The bullying and angst I experience on SM is not congruent for best mental health practice at present. It has also escalated as I suspect it has for many others. Just an important note, however. There has been a private message circulating on Twitter to users from people they apparently “know”. Do NOT press on the link. A couple of my friends have pressed on the link and have had their accounts hacked and taken over by someone else. One of the accounts was Rick’s. I hope we are able to get it back for him. Details of the message hack are below. Please delete these messages. I have my suspicions but will keep them to myself at present.

You have to admit, it’s a clever strategy. By the next election, Albanese will have imported an additional two million people (mostly likely Labor voters) in his two terms - one million of who will be eligible to vote in 2028. This provides a huge electoral advantage to the Labor party. Then any one that calls them out, and suggests two million is to too many, and is not in Australia’s best interests is accused of being "racist" and "attacking" Indian and Chinese communities.
Bob Carr@bobjcarr

Every time Angus Taylor attacks immigration the vast Indian and Chinese communities think he’s talking about them and chances fade of Liberal candidates winning city seats.
