Coaches — I'd like more people to see the “Run The Perimeter” manual. So today: Reply “PERIMETER” and I’ll send the 113-page PDF to you absolutely FREE. Inside: - Outside Zone - Pin & Pull - perimeter blocking ideas - practice/drill organization - fronts and fits - coaching points Just trying to get good football content into more OL rooms.

@jhallof15 @JamesRuport @anymanfitness It's something like 90% of NFL 1st round draft picks in the last 20 years were multiple sport athletes. But kids should specialize and play travel ball.....ok

@JamesRuport @anymanfitness Kind of the shits when a lot of professional athletes advocate playing multiple sports for a variety of reasons. Almost like coaches and parents have a disconnect from what the highest level suggests.

Hudl is a filing cabinet. It holds all your data and makes it look great, but it makes YOU do all the digging to find the truth. Too much data is just as bad as no data. You don’t need a pretty 10-page packet at 1 AM on a Sunday. You need answers. You shouldn't have to cross-reference page 3 of the Formation report with page 7 of the D&D report just to figure out you're tipping your hand. So, I built a ruthless automated Quality Control coach in Google Sheets. Enter the GridironHQ Self-Scout Engine. It doesn't give you pretty field diagrams. It gives you facts. Paste your Hudl export, and it instantly builds a dashboard that hunts down your worst habits: 🛑 Identifies your most predictable formations 🛑 Flags when you get scared to pass in the Red Zone 🛑 Rips every 10+ yard play into an "Explosives" sheet No clicking filters. No homework. Just the exact tendencies that are getting you scouted. I’m looking for 10 coaches to beta-test this before launch. Reply "IN" and make sure you're following me so I can DM you the tool within the next few days. 👇

@CoachShiffman Say what you want about Jamies but I enjoy watching him. Might throw 5 TDs, might throw 4 INTs but you know he's going to sling it.

@coachkou What you have to ask is, what level and how often will you run this? If its HS and its something you might use one a game, just run All Go and rep something you'll use more often. If you want to use it a lot, 4 Verts is better but you'll have to rep the conversion options.

Honest question for offensive coordinators. what's the advantage of running all go as opposed to 4 verts which has conversion options on the inside and outside? 4 verts turns into comebacks on the outside as shown below when the coverage dictates?

I just built an automated sports team newsletter system that is completely housed on Google. 🤯 The workflow: 1️⃣ Coach fills out a short Google Form on their phone. 2️⃣ Script grabs the data, pulls the season schedule, and calculates player stats. 3️⃣ Automatically formats a beautiful HTML email and blasts it to parents, media, players, community, etc. Turning 45 minutes of Sunday busy work into a 2-minute post-game task. It will be customizable to what you want to communicate or emphasize to the recipients. Wrapping up the final template soon. Who wants it when it's done? 🙋‍♂️

@AdamArchuleta Eyes down, bend at the waist. So basically hit with the crown of the helmet while simultaneously losing the power from your legs?

@BaseballAmerica We teach young kids to swing at anything close with 2 strikes. At any time. Bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and you watch Strike 3? That's on you.

@CoachFBInsights When I was on the defensive side of the ball, I watched our offense prepare for an odd front. Never against an even all week. What did our opponent do? Come out in an even front. It was a rough game to say the least.

Too many coaches spend the week preparing for what the defense might do. Not enough time making sure their own plays feel automatic. If your kids are thinking on Friday night, you ran the wrong practice on Tuesday.

No baseball coach ever: “Man, I want that pitcher who throws 76 mph because they made 3 pointers in basketball.” Yes, playing multiple sports can make you more athletic, but you still need the tools for the sport you want to play at the next level

Don’t chase the “next great offense.” Build your own. Install it. Call it. Watch it struggle. Fix it. Run it again. When it’s yours, you adapt faster. You teach it better. You believe in it more. Stop copying systems. Create one.
