The best part of #LondonGamesFestival wasn't the 800+ wishlists on Steam (though wow, thank you all! 🙏). It was watching My Favourite T-Shirt players have so much fun while cracking down on fast fashion in our 3.5D platformer. Thank you @LondonGamesFest, @G4C Games for Change and every single player who showed up for My Favourite T-Shirt. See you again next year in April 2027! 🎮 #LGF2026 #MyFavouriteTShirt #KeepItHuman #GamesForChange #IndieDev #IndieGames #DigitalAltruism #UE5 #WishlistOnSteam

LLM+MCP killed the video stars I followed for years. Combined, they not only provide adaptive depth to your core but become a companion while developing a full BP system. They are brutal problem solvers and fast debuggers, document a full system code after a full day session with workflow charts, and the rationale for decisions made so that another dev in the team can take over after, remind you where you were after a long pause. They are code optimisers using more functions than I do and help me to build C++ actor nodes for specific needs using VS and live coding for testing. Luckily MCPs on FAB are noticeably limited so that I still write 100% of my BPs. They are the last bottleneck to unlocking the potential of an integrated pipeline in a small studio.

@KGshanny Agree and most artists have been testing how to implement AI tools in their creative workflows for the last 10 years. I was reacting to the way you frame it ‘Stop Paying for 2D Asset Generation’ 😥

In my view, AI acts as an amplifier of creativity. With a deeper understanding of the technology and its evolving capabilities, artists can express their unique vision more effectively, accelerating both the pace of creation and the ability to produce at scale. Importantly, running local models enables this without ongoing costs. giving creators the ability to work freely, avoid paying for model wrappers, and retain full control over their workflows, tools, and output🙆‍♀️

Stop Paying for 2D Asset Generation. Create Game-Ready Sprite Sheets Locally with ComfyUI👇 * Workflow A (any image model online → Wan 2.2) * 1. Generate a character (Gemini, ChatGPT, Grok, etc.) 2. Feed into Wan 2.2 (img→video) 3. Add Video Slice → RMBG (background removal) → Clean animated frames, engine-ready * Workflow B (Flux + style LoRA → Wan 2.2) * 1. Create a consistent full-body character in Flux 2. Apply a game style LoRA (to lock art direction early) 3. Pass to Wan 2.2 (high + low noise UNETs + 4-step LoRAs) 4. Slice + remove BG → Strong style consistency outputs What actually matters: > Prompt motion explicitly: walk cycle, opposing limbs, stable torso, no camera > Lock style early (Flux + style LoRA) before animation > Keep it structured: image → video → frames → transparent sprites From here, it's all about benchmarking seeds and tweaking weights. These might take more effort than using a paid wrapper, but building your own workflows and using models directly (local or API) gives you true creative freedom and direction control. #gamedev #comfyui

24 billion pairs of shoes are made yearly. Most end up like this.😱 Our Shoes Spawner in #UE5 uses Niagara for the runtime pile growth. We added a little touch of lighting and scene depth to have that "Small thing that makes a big difference" in the game. #ScreenshotSaturday #IndieDev #GameDev #FastFashion
