@bethanyshondark Let's not forget Katie's story about picking her 12 year old daughter from school. Child weeping. "Why?" Child:
"Trump's going to be elected. What if I get raped and need an abortion?" This woman is the definition of evil. IF this story is true, child is damaged in her soul.
English

@JamesDissent @bethanyshondark I thought it was 2,386 attempts, including one by Marian spacecraft firing red rocks at him while he was riding his bike. I'll tell you detail about all the others if you'll tell us all about FIVE (!!!!!)attempts. Details, please>

@bethanyshondark By 2014, Obama had survived FIVE assassination plots, and this is what Rush Limbaugh called him:

@Anus40802911 @BillMelugin_ He's literally covering his wife's body with his own, and he is not the Head of Secret Service. What do you expect? Should he be up on the roof with automatic weapon? And you spelled your name wrong, Anus.

My thoughts on the security at the WHCD last night.
The first exterior security for me was on the street outside of the hotel. I flashed my ticket and was waved through in one second. My name was not checked against any list, I showed no ID, I was not patted down and did not go through a metal detector. I probably could have shown a ticket from a prior year or a fake one as they barely looked at it. (I don't know who that exterior security was, they were guys in suits).
From that point, I walked into the hotel with no further security check, and I walked down to the Fox pre-party where there were multiple ballrooms that were absolutely PACKED with attendees. Still did not go through any security at that point.
Hypothetically, If I had hidden an explosive in my shoe or my jacket, I would have had no problem getting into one of those ballrooms.
Only once it was time to get into the main ballroom for the dinner did we pass through magnetometers, empty our pockets, and get a pat down. And even that checkpoint was just outside of the dinner room.
Two things can be true at the same time.
Secret Service reacted quickly to an active armed threat and prevented that threat from getting into the ballroom. But the security leading up to that point, in my opinion, appeared to be lacking severely.

@TheWhiteWitchTM @libsoftiktok I get it. If England has only surrendered they wouldn't have had those Stukers dropping bombs on them and had @ 400,000 mortalities. Of course, I hadn't known that being not popular and not liked means you get murdered. Helpful insight from a (w)itch!
English

@libsoftiktok Lets face it... Trump is such a controversial figure...
If he would die regardless of the reason a lot of people world wide would celebrate. Outside his base he is neither popular nor liked.
Political violence is terrible, but those are simply the facts if it comes to Trump!

@JosephMothers2 @NormalDemocrats I just googled "Joseph Mothers" and found no evidence that he(?) exists.
English

@NormalDemocrats I googled it and they found no evidence that her father did anything bad
English

“Survived” is doing a lot of work in this sentence.
Ilhan Omar’s father, Nur Omar Muhammad, was a high ranking military commander in the Siad Barre Regime as it carried out the genocide of the Isaaq people in northern Somalia — now Somaliland.
When the regime collapsed, her family didn’t flee to escape the war as much as they fled to avoid justice for her father’s crimes.
Ilhan Omar@IlhanMN
I think of war through the lens of someone who survived one. It means displacement and irreversible trauma. The continued war with Iran will mean more death, more suffering, and more chaos. End the war.
English

@EAouchea @NormalDemocrats There was never an American Revolution and we are not separate from England. How do we know? Some guy on X says so.
English

@NormalDemocrats The Isaaq genocide never happened it’s just separatist propaganda.

@NormalDemocrats Can you please provide some citations? I've very curious about this topic and want to learn more, but whatever I look it up, stuff like this comes up. I am not being facetious. I truly want to find more sources that just some shitty Snopes article.

@ChidiNwatu @BarackObama Obama "When they bring a knife we bring a gun." High road?
English

@BarackObama President Obama doesn’t get enough credit for consistently taking the high road, even when dealing with the most despicable man and group of people who despise him for just being better than they are.
English

Although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night's shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner, it’s incumbent upon all us to reject the idea that violence has any place in our democracy. It’s also a sobering reminder of the courage and sacrifice that U.S. Secret Service Agents show every day. I’m grateful to them – and thankful that the agent who was shot is going to be okay.
English

@itsDimaygee @BarackObama Moronic troll: Agent's pushing Miller and wife in front of him to get them out fast as possible. Mrs. Miller is pregnant and can't run behind the agent as fast as he can run. She sets the pace. Steve holds her so she doesn't fall.Other agents are protecting the perimeter.
English

@BarackObama American trained security man using a pregnant woman as a shield? That’s not security, that’s cowardice in uniform.

The Secret Service Agent who was shot could explain it, but you wouldn't understand.
English

@JacquiHeinrich @FoxNews @SundayBriefFNC How is this an assassination attempt when he wasn't even in the same room or on the same floor as Trump?
English

NEWS: new info on the WHCD shooting suspect, Cole Allen, from the White House. I'll be talking with President Trump about all of this in 30 minutes on @SundayBriefFNC
The suspect’s written manifesto clearly stated he wanted to target administration officials. He also had a ton of anti-Trump and anti-Christian rhetoric on his social media accounts.
ALLEN's brother had notified New London PD (CT) of ALLEN's alleged manifesto he had sent to his family members prior to the incident.
Secret Service and Montgomery County Police interviewed Avriana Allen, ALLEN’s sister, at their residence in Rockville, MD. The following highlights from the interview:
•Allen said her brother had a tendency to make radical statements and his rhetoric constantly referenced a plan to do “something” to fix the issues with today’s world.
•Confirmed ALLEN purchased two handguns and a shotgun from Cap Tactical Firearms and kept them stored at their parent’s home and that their parents were unaware that ALLEN was keeping the firearms in the home.
•ALLEN would regularly go to the shooting range to train with his firearms
•ALLEN was part of a group called ‘The Wide Awakes’
•ALLEN attended a ‘No Kings’ protest in California at some point

@ottawawanderer @JacquiHeinrich @SundayBriefFNC England itself to be bombed (it just wouldn't surrender). Canadian flyers who joined the RAF & were shot down caused their own deaths; they could have stayed home playing hockey. It all started when Jesus caused His own crucifixion by not playing nice with evil. UR pathetic.

@FriendFromJCA @AkhavanBahar @Vallartagal Put down that sympathy. It's a hallway to toxic empathy. It's not sad. It's infuriating that lying and treason to our country is the norm. It's hideous evil to ignore the plight of others. Inviting nuclear destruction by our enemies to our nation is an abomination.
English

@AkhavanBahar @Vallartagal Very thought-provoking post Bahar!
Surprisingly, in a strange way, it opens me up for “sympathy to the ignorant”

This week was tough. I had dinner with my intelligent friends from European countries, people who have spent half their lives working within the United Nations. We were having a good time until the conversation turned to Donald Trump and Iran. Everyone, without exception, spoke badly of Trump: that he causes problems for everyone, that war is terrible, that it is illegal, and so on.
I stayed silent. When everyone finally became quiet, I asked only one question: who is actually going to collect and remove those more than 400 kilograms of uranium?
My French friend said: Trump is no better than the regime. On top of that, he has started an illegal war, and many countries have nuclear power plants why shouldn’t Iran have them too?
I exploded inside, but I remained silent at first. When I finally broke my silence, I said: was it illegal when the United States helped the French during the Second World War? Was it unnecessary?
Then silence returned.
I kept thinking about how to express everything happening inside me; how to explain the regime to a European-someone surrounded by left-wing ideology, enclosed within indirect forms of censorship, and always ready to say that war is terrible, yet surprised when I say many Iranians wanted it.
How do you explain to people who live in safety that some nations sometimes see outside pressure as the only remaining path when every internal path has been closed? How do you explain that they do not even speak in geopolitical terms, but judge only from a position of moral comfort, while others are speaking about survival?
Europeans who, despite democracy and free internet, still do not know what happened in Iran on January 8–9. Europeans who believe every conflict can be understood through the same moral template. Europeans who condemn all violence in theory, but have never had to live under a Islamic system where violence is part of everyday life.
And I sat there with the feeling that the distance between our realities was greater than the table around which we were sitting…
Reza Pahlavi@PahlaviReza
Whether or not Europe stands with us, whether or not your journalists do their jobs, whether or not your politicians demonstrate the courage to act, I will fight for my people and my country.
English

@IranRises @AkhavanBahar If you have 1 friend with whom you can share deeply held beliefs, it's better than many people with whom you share social interaction on a superficial level. I 'd rather read a good book alone than spend 2 hours holding my tongue.
English

Those are not “intelligent friends”. They are a bunch of sheep 🐑. Remove yourself from them and find actual friends. This situation actually will make us rethink our relationship with many people including many of our Iranian “friends”. I have cut ties with friends who I knew for 20 years over this and it is worth it. We need allies not just a bunch of cowards who want to fight the west without paying any price.
