@ChrisLaPuma Someone who posts about Stanford sports keeps saying there is turmoil in the women's basketball program--"locker room mutiny" and such. Are you hearing anything like that?

@andesiamae Stanford’s top player was out when ND played them. With Nunu Agara back in the lineup Stanford just picked up a 35-point victory over Clemson (a team that both ND and Duke lost to). If they end up having a rematch ND would still be favored but the outcome wouldn’t be certain.

ND can definitely make it all the way to the semifinals and possibly the finals if we stay healthy and locked in. We already beat Miami, Stanford, and NC State and we are a better team than when we played Duke the first week of January.

@ChrisLaPuma @andi_mcc Lepolo can probably petition for an extra year of eligibility if she wants, given that she missed almost all of last season. Her recent disappearance is a mystery, however.

@andi_mcc 3 seniors are leaving: 5-8 G Lauren Green, 5-7 PG Talana Lepolo and 5-11 G Stavi Papadaki. They are being replaced by 6-5 C Kiara Green, 5-8 G Elyse Ngenda and 6-0 Wing Jordyn Wheeler. Green and Papadaki have never been a regular part of the rotation so it looks like an upgrade.

By the way 6'-5" Center Kiara Green did, in fact, end up committing to Stanford WBB's Class of 2026. A nice pickup to fill out the Cardinal roster next year.

@keith_vansickle Reports are Indiana's NIL budget was similar to Miami's. I've seen an estimate of Oregon's 2025 NIL budget in the same range at $23M (though some estimate higher). And of course Indiana bought their Heisman trophy winning QB. So it is the money, Indiana just spent it most wisely.

#Indiana football started in 1899. They now have six total bowl victories in program history. The dates: • Dec. 21, 1979 • Dec. 28, 1988 • Dec. 31, 1991 • Jan. 1, 2026 • Jan. 9, 2026 • Jan. 19, 2026 So the Hoosiers won as many bowl games in the last 19 days as they had in the previous 125 years combined. A truly mind-blowing story.

@ChrisLaPuma I think we can get to a 6 if our frosh continue to develop. Being #33 in the NET rankings hurts us, but I have to admit I don't understand why we are so low, as only four teams (UConn, SC, Texas, and UCLA) have more Quad 1 + Quad 2 victories than we do.

Stanford WBB now a 7 seed in the latest ESPN bracketology. Dramatically better than an 8 or 9 seed. I'm still rooting for a 6 seed before all is said or done.
