The Republican District Attorney in Butler County, PA, should immediately file charges against Joseph R. Biden for inciting an assassination.

I wish Biden would reflect on this debate performance and then announce his decision to withdraw from the race, throwing the choice of Democratic nominee to the convention. Someone like @gretchenwhitmer or @SherrodBrown or @SecRaimondo could still jump in and beat Trump.

EVERYONE should be happy in aftermath of #UMCGC. #BeUMC-ers are taking well-earned victory lap that they got everything they wanted and more. Those of us who left are celebrating that as bad as we thought it could be, it turned out much worse.

1992. I, a cis white man, wrote a letter of protest to the SC UMC Advocate regarding LGBTQ+ inclusion. I wasn’t. always perfect in advocacy. And my departure from SCUMC was colored by my own failings. Even so, today I rejoice. The @UMCGC has shown the wideness of God’s mercy!

We who were nurtured in United Methodism’s theology of God’s generous grace can now bring our full selves as we respond to the Holy Spirit’s call into ordained ministry. May we be judged on the fruits of our ministry, not on our sexual orientation or gender identity. #UMCGC
