Do I need a reason to add a retro halftone print effect for Turbine Tycoon? I've always loved the warm analogue style of mid-century printed media, particularly the retro-futuristic illustrations seen in Eagle magazine. It's an effect I've wanted to explore and apply to my work for a long time. So I thought I'd give it a go for Turbine Tycoon, mostly to see if it was possible more than actually keeping it for the final game. It's a WebGL shader that replicates the CMYK offset, plus some other bits to drive home the vibe. I actually really like it, even with the loss of detail. There's something comforting about it, as if the game is being played on the page of an old magazine. I doubt it'll make it into the final game but it's been fun to play with and I'm sure I'll get to use a similar effect in my other work.

@Retroldies That admin was really annoying. So I wrote code that would corrupt her customer database. She would yell for the CEO when that would happen, and then I would fix it while he was stomping his way to her desk. Hahaha. But yeah, I did get used to it.
