Turns out so many people tried to sign up today that @Telstra couldn’t handle it. They said I may have service within 24 hours. They actually told me the best way to get sorted was to go to a service station and buy a pre paid sim. That’s their solution. Wow

Signed up to @Telstra today at 2pm. Still not connected and my Optus has been disconnected. I’ve been without a phone longer than the @Optus outage.
