Only 12% of Americans favor sending ground troops into Iran, a doomed strategy that Trump has already floated. 60% oppose such an idea. 56% of Americans believe that a long-term military conflict with Iran is now somewhat likely and 24% of those think it's now very likely. It's hard to imagine a worse move for our nation's future than another pointless, expensive, blood-soaked war in the Middle East. Republicans claim that we don't have the money for healthcare, but apparently we have endless funds to drop bombs on Iranian children. 54% believe that Iran will become a greater threat to America thanks to Trump's war and even 40% of those who support the attacks are unconvinced that they will make Iran less of a threat. A few things are absolutely certain. This war is not in our country's best interests, it was declared illegally, and Americans are now dying because of Trump. Even if this comes to pass, it’s not the end. But we need to be ready, and we need to be organized. If mail-in ballots get banned, we need to be ready to drive people to the polls. If voter ID gets passed, we need to be ready to help people get the IDs they need in time. Nothing will stop us from taking back our country from this would-be dictator and his psychotic cronies!
