In this new school year, let’s allow the students to tell us who they are and not label them from something we were told from last year’s teacher. What we believe we know about them will be what they become if that’s all we see.

Get up and get moving around your classroom. Talk to kids. See what they are doing. Give suggestions. LISTEN to their suggestions. You can’t educate until you relate.
