Conservatives accept the assessment of CSIS and the RCMP about India’s foreign interference threat activities here in Canada. We reject the accusation that CSIS is politically compromised. We reject the accusation that the RCMP are investigating “fantasy” allegations. Just this month, CSIS assessed in its annual report that India has engaged in “surveillance and other coercive tactics meant to suppress criticism of the Government of India and create fear in the community” in Canada. The Liberal government’s position on all of this is less than clear. In February this year, the Liberal government rejected the assessment of CSIS, which continues to assess India as one of the main perpetrators of foreign interference threat activities here in Canada. The Liberal government said India has stopped its foreign interference, transnational repression and violence here in Canada. In addition, almost two years after Parliament adopted Bill C-70, the Liberal government has yet to stand up the Foreign Influence Transparency Registry, a key tool in combatting foreign interference. A disturbing pattern is emerging of a Liberal government that, like the previous Liberal government, is failing to treat national security seriously. This has this has real implications for the protection of Canadians here at home and the assertion of our sovereignty here and abroad. #cdnpoli

Yesterday, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) announced it will tax streaming services an extra 15% to support “Canadian content.”

Conservatives have stood with police chiefs and premiers to demand stricter bail and tougher penalties for violent repeat offenders, but Carney Liberals keep blocking the mandatory minimums that Conservative bills would restore.

While Liberal inflationary taxes drive up the cost of gas, groceries, and transportation, Carney’s Finance Minister is claiming they have already done enough. He told Canadians that the Liberals have acted “faster” and “more comprehensively” than peer countries.

After 11 years of Liberal mismanagement and corruption, Canadians are fed up. Nearly HALF of Canadians don't trust Mark Carney's government to make decisions in the public interest, according to a recent survey. Carney is just another Liberal who supports the same policies that gave Canada the highest food inflation, the highest housing costs and the highest household debt in the G7. Only Conservatives have a plan to restore affordability and fight for Canadians who have lost hope.

So let me get this straight….CBC has a copy of the letter but they’ve decided to protect the MP’s who signed it?!? Is CBC even pretending to be a balanced media outlet anymore? Last week, CBC got caught lying to a Conservative MP so he would unwittingly be part of their gross spoof. This week they are proactively protecting Liberal MP’s who actually wrote this letter. This is indefensible and I will never listen to anyone who says that CBC isn’t biased. Canadians deserve better!

It is utterly disappointing that the Carney Liberals are giving up on the Snowbirds, destroying a symbol of our national pride which for more than 50 years showcased Canadian military excellence.
