Students launched an encampment for Gaza at Ohio State University — the third largest university in the country. After police swept the camp this morning, students and community have returned to protest in full force.

When people marched around campus with guns and students voiced their discomfort we were told that it’s a public university and to stay away from the group. Yet peaceful protest is met with excessive police violence. Shameful @OhioState

Voting is critical but alone it’s not enough. We will need to organize, strike, fill coffers of abortion funds, open our homes to help those seeking safe passage, and more to establish and defend our rights. People have more power than they realize. It’s time we rediscover it.

Pre-Roe, I was 8 yrs old. I came home from school to find my Mom lying in a puddle of blood. She was weak & asked me to call a neighbor. She was miscarrying, but the embryo would not abort. For 48 hours, she bled while doctors transfused blood, waiting. Abortions were illegal.
