Emotional labor in relationships is often invisible and requires a constant effort to maintain emotional harmony. Women are frequently expected to manage emotions in partnerships, which can lead to exhaustion and burnout. This invisible labor is foundational to functioning in relationships, but it rarely is evenly shared. Women often absorb their partner's stress and soothe emotional tension, while downplaying their own feelings. This imbalance can result in fatigue, anger, and a sense of inauthenticity, leading to long-term mental health issues such as anxiety or depression. Recognizing and redistributing emotional labor more evenly is crucial for maintaining a healthy relationship dynamic.

This is worse than anything Andrew Tate has said. Where is the deplatforming? Where are the YouTube hit pieces? Where is the legacy media hysteria? Where is the government condemnation? Where is the debanking? Where is the lawfare? Where are the false accusations?

If you're worried about the birth rate you should be equally concerned with male violence against women. Births are dropping amid unprecedented male violence and I believe that's an important part of the story.

@NataliePage No, the two are not connected in any way. The populations with the highest birth rates have much higher rates of domestic violence. It’s absurd to say otherwise.

@Rob_ThaBuilder @NataliePage yes, it was, but she knows that. She's just deliberately lying and acting like an asshole because generations of women fought and lost everything so she could be this much of an asshole with no price to pay for it.

They’re trying to take away a woman’s right to have credit without a male co-signer. This CBS News special being sponsored by Bank of America should terrify everyone. Feminism hasn’t failed us. The patriarchy has.

Has feminism failed women? Should Gen Z believe in the American dream? Does America need God? Things That Matter brings real argument back to primetime. Live debates, in front of an audience, with the thinkers shaping our culture facing off in real time. Debuting in 2026. Brought to you by @BankofAmerica.

Teachers in the UK will be given training to spot the signs of misogyny and tackle it in the classroom as part of the government's strategy to halve violence against women and girls within the next decade. The plans, which they say will focus on preventing the radicalisation of young men and stopping the influence of men like Andrew Tate, are due to be unveiled tomorrow. Boys will be taught about issues such as consent, sharing intimate images, how to identify positive role models and to challenge myths about women and relationships. Thoughts?

Boys as young as 11 could be sent on anti-misogyny classes as part of the government's long-awaited strategy to tackle violence against women and girls. Richard asks @jessphillips how the government will tackle what young people see online.

I genuinely cannot understand how generation above me ended up here. We grew up idolising David Bowie and through him discovered Lou Reed and Iggy Pop. We lived through punk and post punk smashing gender norms in public. We watched Prince blur masculinity and desire. We danced to Boy George. We worshipped Grace Jones. Then came the flamboyance of the eighties where androgyny excess and self invention were celebrated. Gender bending was not a threat. It was art. It was freedom. It was cool. So how did the same generation become so hostile to people simply existing outside rigid boxes. How did we go from celebrating difference to fearing it. This backlash does not come from culture or history. It comes from forgetting who we were and what we stood for. None of this is new. Get over it.

Without immigration, there will, within a number of generations, be no Europe and no United Kingdom. Today's racist obsessions will look incomprehensible to our elderly - desperate for young people to look after them....we'll be fighting to attract people from overseas.
