@ZacksJerryRig You were set up to fail the second you hired an agency 😔 As a prior agency owner, the model is broken when it comes to outsourced development. Even when both sides are trustworthy parties, it just doesn’t work when trying to build someone else’s idea. Hire a dev in-house.

About a year ago a local software company bid me $100k - $150k to create custom manufacturing software for my wheelchair factory. Fast forward a year - they still aren't finished with the original scope of work - and now want an *additional* $100k because *they* went over budget. I've already paid $150k. I don’t understand why the @NevadaDMV has to be so bad. Trying to pick up a custom license plate. I get a LETTER IN THE MAIL that my plate is ready for pickup and that I need to schedule an appointment. I go to the website and the next available appointment was THREE MONTHS AWAY. I book said appointment and then at 60 days I get another LETTER IN THE MAIL saying that my plate still hasn’t been picked up and will be DESTROYED IN 14 days. I try calling. Nope. Lines are packed apparently. Can’t get ahold of anyone. I try chatting online. Nope. Can’t get a real answer. I use the contact form. That was 3 weeks ago and still no response. I notice the letter about destroying my plates is from an apparent human, and in her signature is her email address! Perfect. I’ll email her. Nope! Email bounced. 😖 So I finally decide just to drive over there this morning. I wait in line. I ask the lady what are my options? She says, “Take this QR code and at 7:30pm Tuesday night, pull it up and you might be able to get an appointment for Wednesday. This is the solution. A appointment lottery. Freaking fantastic. 🙄 Thank you for reading my rant. It shouldn’t be this way.
