Max your 401(k), defer taxes, draw it down at 65. That's the standard advice. It's also advice designed for people retiring right now—not for millennials with a 10–25 year runway. The IRS has a different provision for that timeline. In 2026, married couples can realize up to $131,100 in long-term capital gains completely tax-free—$32,200 standard deduction plus $98,900 at the 0% bracket. That window was built for the 55–65 gap before Social Security starts. The people building taxable brokerage accounts now, alongside their 401(k)s, aren't planning to retire. They're planning to stop being required to work.

Ignore the erroneous talking point. US treaty allies right there to the north and south. Nearest US military base on Okinawa, 400 miles from Taiwan. Nearest base on US territory, Guam, 1700 miles from Taiwan. US mainland is 9500 km, not miles...
YANG Kuang-shun 楊光舜@KuangshunYang

Ko Wen-je, former Taipei Mayor & chair of TPP, second largest opposition party, questioned if Americans will send their sons & daughters to travel 9500 miles to fight for Taiwan. Another example of US skepticism narrative reinforced by Trump which could've been avoided.

Mr. President, we do not need more Chinese agents, operatives, and soldiers in America. China’s factories are bases of subversion, and we are already overwhelmed.

Senator Graham: We’ll be putting sanctions on China if they invade Taiwan. I want China to know: if you try to take Taiwan by force, here’s what happens to your economy — the full weight and measure of sanctions and tariffs from the United States will kick in on day one.

Don’t make the mistake of buying long-term Treasuries thinking 4.58% on a 10-year or 5.12% on a 30-year are good deals. Not only will those low yields not even come close to covering the purchasing power you will lose to inflation, but bond prices will fall as rates keep rising.

How about we ban all Chinese foreign students and we ban sales of land in the US to foreigners? Why does Xi’s daughter live in Massachusetts? China is our enemy. We can never be “partners” with Communists. I thought we all agreed on this. It’s been a rough week personally.

NOW - Trump says it's good to have 500,000 foreign Chinese students in the U.S. and for China to purchase U.S. farmland; otherwise, colleges and farm prices would collapse: "I frankly think that it's good that people come from other countries and they learn our culture."

I respect President Trump, but if he brings 500,000 Chinese students to Florida colleges, I will raise tuition on them to $1,000,000/year. As Governor, I refuse to let the limited admission spots at our taxpayer-funded colleges be stolen by foreigners.

Xi’s message at the US-China summit was simple: stay out of Taiwan. That’s not diplomacy. It’s a threat. Taiwan is what Xi cares about most — more than tariffs, markets, or any deal. The Chinese Communist Party doesn’t get to dictate American foreign policy.

🚨 Trump in Beijing playing 4D chess: His first official ask to Xi is wide open doors for American CEOs — Elon Musk, Jensen Huang, and the rest of the killers he flew in on Air Force One. Peter Doocy reporting live, Trump wants to let these brilliant minds “work their magic” and take the relationship to the next level. No more one-sided deals. No more getting screwed for decades. Real reciprocity. Real winning. This is what America First looks like on the world stage: strength first, then smart business that benefits American workers, innovation, and leverage. Trump isn’t there to bow, he’s there to close. The contrast with past weak-kneed administrations is night and day. China knows they’re dealing with a closer now.

This is why we need to END the Optional Practical Training program! Last month, I sent a letter to @POTUS applauding his work to STOP this fraud. It’s time to make MORE jobs available for American workers, NOT foreign fraudsters.
Eric Daugherty@EricLDaugh

🚨 HOLY SMOKES. ICE has just announced a jaw-dropping fraud bust, saying 10,000 FOREIGN students are involved in the federal government's Optional Practical Training There are EMPTY BUILDINGS where HUNDREDS of students should be "working" as part of their ability to be in America — run by foreign-linked groups that send money out of the country! Locked doors, hundreds of students sharing the SAME ADDRESS, and "employers" sharing the same unleased addresses There is a widespread "phantom employee" fraud going on. This is insane. Many of the so-called "employers" have major red flags, such as facing lawsuits, no employment records, offshore payroll claims, and suspicious INTERNATIONAL MONEY flows "HSI agents have visited problematic OPT employer work sites in Virginia, Texas, Georgia, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Florida." "Foreign students themselves are entering false addresses and employer names into the student and exchange visitor information system." "But we are uncovering evidence of organized fraud that spans national and international borders. This is not accidental. It is deliberate, coordinated, and criminal." "To give you an example, one employer we visited claimed to employ only three foreign students through OPT, while our records show over 500 foreign students claiming to work there." "The company's representatives were unable to answer basic questions about the business and deferred HR managers in India." "OPT employers are required to directly train foreign students, but we've seen multiple examples of alleged employers claiming that all management is overseas in India." "We've also discovered multiple state networks which are large networks of alleged employers claiming to train thousands of foreign students in OPT, then farming them out to unreported third party employers, making oversight nearly impossible and raising serious national security issues."

For months I’ve been speaking to American tech workers forced to train their H-1B replacements, or told their jobs were being moved to India. I’ve now heard from whistleblowers from Google and FedEx describing the same pattern. Two-thirds of Silicon Valley tech workers are foreign born. There are now more Indian-born workers in Silicon Valley (23%) than California-born (18%). More than 70% of H1-B visas go to Indians.
GB News@GBNEWS

“I was told to train my Indian replacement.” “My whole team’s jobs were sent to India.” “Google outsourced my work to the Philippines.” @StevenEdginton speaks to American tech workers replaced by foreign labour due to the H1-B visa, and offshoring jobs to India.

Prez Trump does not have to give much to Xi Jinping. China’s economy is deteriorating, the military is in disarray, and many Chinese are opting out of society. So why make concessions to the leader of a failing country?

I introduced a constitutional amendment to end birthright citizenship. The 14th Amendment was never meant to reward illegal entry. Legal immigration built this country. Illegal immigration is being used to game the system. Only children of legal residents should receive automatic citizenship.

China owns Smithfield Foods based in Virginia, which is the world’s largest pork producer and food processing company, accounting for more than a quarter of all pork production in the US, along with huge chunks of farmland in the country.
