Question to the indie devs: Is it hard to put your game on @GOGcom? I'm asking because it is my preferred digital storefront to buy games, but only a handful of games are published there. Especially when it comes to #beatemups.

Why do people do this? It’s like they want me to defend GKC by simply explaining what what they are. GKC are not connected to your account or to the eshop in any way. Games getting delisted don’t impact GKC. They have their own servers.

I never want to hear that GKCs are "killing physical media" ever again. Especially after what Sony did today. At least you can still resell the bloody things, which you can't do with digital games. GKCs ARE physical media. They're just a very unconventional way of doing it.

@TheCartelDel Cyberpunk works that way because CDPR allows it. plenty of Steam games do not. PC’s advantage is storefront competition and DRM flexibility, not “Steam means you own everything” 😭

I own Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam. I can delete Steam at any time, copy the entire Cyberpunk game folder to another PC or drive, launch the executable directly, and it will play. I truly own it. PlayStation digital games cannot make the same promise.

@Lucid00 Exactly lol. Your Steam / PC library will follow you everywhere on any hardware you can think of. Desktops, Laptops, Handhelds, VR, and now ARM devices as well. No other gaming platform can provide that kind of value, not even Xbox play anywhere, since it's a per game basis.
