not gonna quote tweet anyone specific, but i've seen a ton of people point out that lebron has gotten much more flack for his comments than other players like draymond and marcus smart who also spoke negatively on memphis recently. 1) people DID roast both of them, but 2) what lebron says objectively carries more weight. he's the most famous basketball player in the world. it's fine if he doesn't like a hotel in memphis. but to go as far as saying a whole team should move out of a small market is going to upset people, especially those who love and care about the city and are tired of the disrespect. not sure why people are being dense about this

They went to go sing for the queen of England over 100 plus years ago. Both are impactful to their respective cities and the state as a whole.
