@kevmitchell81 @DanKingdom96 It couldn't in 2024 when NVPlay stopped recording the game as soon as Banton returned to the crease for the 2nd time. Maybe they've updated now. As it was, it wasn't a problem as no-one in the Somerset line-up got anywhere near retiring & none were called back

@SomersetGrockle @DanKingdom96 Software can cope with it, it’s pretty straight forward.

@DanKingdom96 There is the possibility of a player batting twice in an innings here so don't plan on keeping up to date for all 3 days with NVPlay. They had a meltdown 2 years ago when Tom Banton batted twice and couldn't get the software to accept that concept. 93 for 4 at lunch.

Harry I see THS Rew made his first class debut in an international match. I don't expect that has happened for a while but I do remember somebody making their FC debut in a test match. Was @SomersetCCC last pair of brothers the Palmer brothers when they play next yr, Francis'.
