THE EUROPEAN CONVENTION ON HUMAN RIGHTS IS A SAFETY NET THAT PROTECTS US ALL - NO MATTER WHO IS IN POWER
WE MUST DEFEND IT!
Planned reforms to how it works could lead to a slow erosion of our rights. Is that what we want?
WE MUST ACT NOW: Watch this film. Email your MP and call on them to oppose changes that will water down OUR PROTECTIONS

Yes, Starmer is awful but with potentially 5 PMs in 5 years, and two party politics fracturing, we’ve got to ask why we’ve become such a politically unstable country. Inequality and an economy that only really works for the 1% with a political system that selects only people who will uphold this system won’t end with Starmer. Unless a new PM has the guts to take on corporate interests we’ll be stuck in the same vicious spiral.

@PeterStefanovi2 Learning nothing from tories and endless change. Noone is better in labour, they should be pulling together and stop lurching right but they're all desperate to dave their seats in the next election instead
English

@BethRigby Labour ministers don't get it. More co corned keeping their seats instead of pulling together and sorting it out. Tories showed the constant change wasnt the answer but labour learn nothing
English

@PolitlcsUK Dont need constant change in PM. Had it with tories. Wither stop lunging right or wait for defeat in the GE

🚨 NEW: Cabinet Ministers are now defending Keir Starmer to the media after the Cabinet meeting
Pat McFadden: "The PM will continue with his job, as he should. No one challenged [the Prime Minister]. The PM wants to carry on with his job"
Liz Kendall: "The PM talked about challenges we face, Middle East, that this Government will do what we were elected to do. PM has my full support in this. There is a process to challenge the leader, no one has made that challenge"
Steve Reed: "The PM has my full support. The Labour Party has a process for triggering an election - that has not happened. So we all intend to get on with our jobs"
Peter Kyle: "We had a purposeful Cabinet meeting, nothing has been triggered, we are working hard on the issues facing the country. Starmer has been steadfast"

@JamesMurphyTips Yeah but if the attacker can hang on the edge and be onside long as they have their little toe in line then its onside. Teams won't risk that, plsu thr same issue with drawing lines and last point of contact etc. The current way is right but made better with tech, i.e.sensors
English

@kevp88 I disagree - the deeper a defender goes, the closer towards goal an attacker can be whilst still remaining onside. A low block would be suicide as teams will learn they can just fizz balls across the box and the striker can steal a yard and not be offside.
English

People saying VAR Offsides are factual conveniently choose to ignore the fact there is an official deciding the 'last point of contact' for the freeze frame.
This below is the perfect example of this - there is a level of guesswork involved, and the margins can be so fine.
I'm praying they implement the Wenger Offside rule soon because the current version is horrendous and is seemingly punishing the attacker more and more.

🚨‼️Frame-by-frame analysis of Calvert-Lewin’s potential offside prior to Leeds’ possible penalty. ⚠️In the frame chosen by VAR, he is marginally offside, but there is no evidence that the ball has been played yet. ❌In the next frame, he is ONSIDE.

This is a brilliant investigative piece on Farage, the dark millions behind him and the double standards of so much British journalism. Read and retweet! Nigel Farage pocketing £5m from a donor shows he’s unfit for power app.prospectmagazine.co.uk/story/73421/co…

When asked to give advice, especially with WWE, I often reply
‘be authentic’
‘do not fear failure’
‘know your why.’
The John Cena Classic may not be perfect by any means yet it’s authentically me (I am not perfect either) and reflects my values and beliefs.
I’m aware that there is the risk it might be a total failure and I’m not afraid of that and believe it’s still worth stepping ‘in the arena.’
My ‘why’ in WWE is to consistently be as useful as possible for as long as possible, with my in ring career at an end, my ‘why’ is to use whatever energy or relevance I have left in hopes to create a launchpad of opportunity for all talent to show their skills while simultaneously creating a unique experience for our dedicated fan base.
At the very least.. we all learn something
At the very best.. we all create something
I’m ready for wherever the road takes us.
Thank you WWE for this opportunity
More details to come as we figure all this out!
Sincerely,
John Cena

@FabrizioRomano Still clowns on the touchline and gets refs to give a foul for something not given any other game. Refs are a joke in the epl. They aren't consistent in any game
English

@FabrizioRomano Thats the biggest issue, consistency. That hasn't been given a foul till today but generally...refs dont know how to use var here because they are rubbish and var is just exposing it
English

@JanAageFjortoft Did you ask how the epl can be best in the world when most games that isnt a foul but today it was? No consistency and awful refs expaoed by var
English

With a very happy Arteta
Told me he knew what my first question would be….
Well of course ….Martin won it…and maybe the trophy for them today
