Getting a lot of questions about $LEO
I talked about it briefly on a pod with @patriotsounds and @TheDesertLynx yesterday too
Quick elevator pitch:
1. 30M max supply
2. Issued over the last 6 years through an inflationary rewards pool (fair launch) to users of our INLEO.io social media app
3. Inflation is over as of June 25th of this year. We destroyed the ability to mint LEO which ended inflationary rewards
4. INLEO-based revenue now buys LEO off the market, distributes to social media participants every day through what we call “SIRP” (system income rewards pool)
5. LeoDex.io/leo is live and will pay USDC staking rewards using 100% of fee revenue on @leodexio starting September 23rd
6. Before September 23rd, POL (also explained via dashboard on the /leo page) is buying LEO using 100% of LeoDex fee income. This builds the LEO treasuries position - called Protocol Owned LEO (POL) - which will use 100% of its future USDC daily income to buyback LEO and stake for more sLEO
7. LeoAI is shaping up nicely and provides system income to feed the SIRP model on INLEO + adds extra premium benefits to INLEO premium subscribers
8. Leostrategy is a community-operated project that essentially runs like Microstrategy but for the LEO token. They’ve bought nearly 1M LEO and continue to acquire more daily. Their strategy will deploy 100% of their LEO as sLEO, earn USDC and auto compound for more LEO daily while launching financial tools/services to acquire more and more LEO. They can never sell LEO, so the LEO per LSTR share value always is up and to the right
9. AI Agents have been getting setup and deployed. These generate system income and feed the SIRP on INLEO as well
10. LeoMerchants is in testing allowing IRL micropayments that are settled by being routed through @THORChain. 100% of fee income goes to sLEO stakers as daily USDC to harvest
11. Our LeoDex mobile wallet is heading into Beta soon
12. Leo’s SDK for enabling other apps to seamlessly integrate cross-chain swaps will also go public soon, 100% of revenue is paid to the same LeoDex.io/leo sLEO staking contract
Needless to say, a lot is shaping up. LEO is up 300% since our June 25th changes
Much more on the way 🫡

hey @bittensor , love what you guys are doing here. As a co-founder of @THORChain, lets collab. Trustless cross chain swaps for $TAO

The pace of innovation on @near_intents has been pretty mind blowing to watch

@khalkaz Been enjoying light more a bit more recently. Clean, looks great.

@thinkwhysly @THORChain @KentonC137 It is absolutely a solvable problem it just needs to be prioritized
I want TC to win and I know that this is what it takes. Trying to figure out how to convince projects to integrate something slower and more expensive is not the path forward
English

@khalkaz @THORChain @KentonC137 There is nothing @KentonC137 can do about this, but I feel like there have been several people in the community saying what you are saying that we need fast and cheaper swaps. I might have missed it, but haven’t seen much about what is technically being done to address this.
English

Marketing @THORChain must be in addition to, not instead of
The future of integrations is more, not choosing sides. Especially with AI, SDKs and MCPs making it easier than ever to just "add all" in a few clicks
THORChain needs to be integrated and DEXes WANT to integrate it. The key is making it the preferred route:
1. Best pricing
2. Best speed
3. Cleanest execution (lowest centralization risk)
For example, @leodexio and our leokit.dev/mcp allow anyone to add THORChain alongside hundreds of other DEXes. What makes a swap go through THORChain? When it has the best price/speed (or combination of the two)
This is how you scale THORChain's volume. It used to be the only game in town. Now the reality is that it isn't. Growing THORChain is about being the BEST game in town for specific routes
The goal of the invisible liquidity layer still lives in my heart for TC. Protocol-level execution is the necessary switch to flip

THORChads, help me sell @THORChain against the following: Li.Fi deBridge Relay Garden Finance Why should a wallet integrate THORChain instead of the above?
English

This is the right question to ask
LeoDex has 107 DEXes aggregated via LeoKit. I want THORChain to rank highly on this list
ATM, TC ranks 2nd to last. This is my point to @KentonC137: the top wallets/integrators in the space won’t integrate TC solely because marketing is good
With the best marketing in the world, we can’t ignore the fact that TC’s execution is slower and more costly than nearly all of its competitors as of today
I don’t believe the limiting factor is liquidity. Intents have proven it. Streaming Swaps have proven it — you can have great execution with marginal reserve liquidity
So break it down this way:
1. Price
2. Speed
These are what users care about. How does TC win on these? I think the answer is a mix of a few things. Every new development should be weighed on:
1. Does it make swaps faster?
2. Does it make swaps cheaper?
3. Does it add more width to swap coverage (new chains)
Some ideas:
1. Protocol cost per swap
2. Instant swaps refactored as true intents
3. Subsidizing MM’s (allowing MM’s to operate at lower rates to bring better pricing and speed for end users)

English

@khalkaz @THORChain In your opinion, what is currently limiting Thorchain execution being the best pricing and best speed?
English

Perhaps they’re using outdated info
Adding integrations from top performing protocols can be as easy as a single line of code these days
Marketing isn’t the problem right now. Protocol execution is
And this is coming from someone working with multiple protocols, integrations, aggregators and wallets
English

@khalkaz @THORChain There are marginal returns for adding new aggregators and the one they want to replace is performing poorly.
English

@khalkaz @THORChain I literally just had a call with a well known wallet that said they don't want to add any more aggregators. They are interested in replacing one with THORChain.
English

Gave my Agent access to crosschain swap protocols like @THORChain, @chainflip and @near_intents and asked it to "DCA BTC whenever the price drops by 2%"
