@shrinkrapdinah @GovLarryHogan In the meantime standards of care should be raised for boarding patients. Waiting for a bed shouldn’t mean you’re locked in a room for days with no interventions offered. The ED is still a high level of care. What patients get there should reflect that.

Decades ago, I remember a child with autism in the ED for days on end waiting for a bed. Things have only gotten worse, we need more inpatient psych beds for children & teens (& adults), this is disgraceful & sickening. 1/2 @GovLarryHogan
