Earlier this week, we launched Wondercraft Video. Ahead of launch, we gave access to 10 creators and ran a $25K challenge to make our launch video. The results were wild and showed how AI video can be actually useful. RT and comment “WONDA” and I’ll DM you 1,000 free credits.

November was one for the books in the ecosystem especially for everyone who made it to @EFDevcon 🌝 If you were there, you probably still can’t get over the experience. If you weren’t… well, let’s just say you should already be planning for the next one. Here’s a quick wrap-up of what went down in November. And if we missed anything, feel free to add yours 👇🏽

Aya HQ: Powering Africa’s Web3 Builders If you want to understand where Africa’s next generation of Web3 founders and innovators will come from, look at @ayahq_ . While many talk about the future of crypto and decentralization, Aya is building it from the ground up — not with hype, but with people, trust, and real infrastructure. Aya HQ is a trust-first Web3 talent incubator, founded by Eric Annan (@eannan_24), on a simple belief: “Technology without people is useless. Africa doesn’t just need users — we need owners and builders.” And that’s exactly what they’re creating. Aya HQ focuses on one thing most accelerators overlook: the human layer. Through AyaVersity, they’ve already trained hundreds of Africans in blockchain engineering, smart contracts, product thinking, and startup execution. They have physical zones in Accra (Ghana) and Kilifi (Kenya), where builders live, collaborate, learn, and create real products together. These hubs: - Give founders stable power, fast internet, and a distraction-free environment - Create trust, collaboration, and shared ownership among builders - Help founders build resilience, not just prototypes The result? A community of builders who think long-term, ship fast, and support each other. Aya HQ’s impact goes beyond training. They’re shifting the narrative — proving that African builders can lead, not follow. They’ve: - Trained 300+ Web3 talents - Supported dozens of startups - Run continent-wide hackathons - Built a founder-first community rooted in trust, collaboration, and conviction Their work is pushing African innovation from “potential” to reality. Aya HQ is doing the hard work of shaping the people who will shape the continent’s digital future. And in a world that’s still underestimating African talent, Aya is boldly proving “Africa is not waiting for permission to build. Africa is already building — together.” Follow “@theweb3digest” to discover more innovative projects.

Blockchain Adoption in Ghana: Where Research Meets Real-World Building Yesterday @ayahq_ Builder Hub, we hosted a powerful dialogue bringing together Ghana’s blockchain builders, founders, and researchers -united by one mission: understanding what adoption truly looks like on the ground. The conversation was led by two brilliant researchers, @eliza_oak (Optimism/Yale University) and @ejabakah (University of Ghana Business School), who shared early findings from Phases 1–3 of their ongoing research into blockchain adoption in Ghana. Their work explores the realities facing users and innovators from trust and regulation to product usability, payment friction, and cultural context. But this wasn’t just theory. Community leaders from @SuiNetworkGhana and @DesciGhana brought grassroots perspectives on education, tooling, and accessibility. Builders from @iExchangeP2P , @learnway, Movie Meter, @Hopeum_io Qwik rent and many others shared firsthand stories about what’s working, where users are excited, and the barriers startups are fighting to overcome - including infrastructure, user onboarding pain points, and the need for clearer pathways to scale. One clear message emerged: 📌 Ghana has the talent and entrepreneurial drive -but real adoption grows when blockchain solves real problems in everyday life, just like what mobile money did. The session sparked new collaborations, insights, and an even stronger commitment to build with the community at the center. Huge thank you to everyone who contributed your voice, your data, and your dreams. This is how progress happens - together. At AyaHQ, we’ll continue to create the space for research + innovation to meet, for builders to thrive, and for Ghana to lead Africa’s web3 transformation. Let’s keep building, keep learning, and keep championing what blockchain can do for Ghana. 🇬🇭

Let’s be honest Africa doesn’t have a talent problem. Everywhere you turn, someone is building something brilliant. The real issue? Everyone’s doing amazing work… but in different corners. That’s finally starting to change. @ayahq_ we’re building a layer that actually connects all these efforts. Builders, communities, organizations all in one flow instead of scattered pieces. Because innovation moves faster when everyone can plug into the same system.

The pains, the pity and the hopeless narrative have kept the continent living in a shadow of self-sabotage. Let us not allow that program to guide our imagination as we enter rooms and stages locally or globally. Despite the challenges, the rest of the world is not without them, yet we've built Mpesa, Flutterwave, Paystack, Project Mocha, Digitpay, Jamit, Onboard, Hurupay, Learnway, Clapmi, Web3brige, AyaHQ, Blockfuse, Web3Clubs, Magma, etc. My dear African builders, none associate with hopelessness, pity or negativity. Anytime you have the chance to tell the story, let’s carry the story of hope, possibility, and the audacity of our resilience, with numerous proofs of work. That is the collective energy that will attract butterflies into this lovely garden. Humanity is craving for the beauty, the love, the kindness and abundance of the motherland. Stop self-sabotaging with your childhood self-pity. Education has enlightened you; now you have exposure, let it elevate your thinking. mind, imagination, and audacity as a value enabler. Each of you is a node that carries the light for those behind you. Wishing everyone African child in Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷 the best of light and greatness. Remember, the world only respects and responds to $Value, not emotions or pity! #thehumanlayer

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “Without the rich heart, wealth is an ugly beggar.” As November dawns, may we find the courage to stay human, the humility to be kind, the audacity to love without expecting, and the confidence to give without counting. May wisdom teach us to bury the I for the us and we. Because the African mind no longer needs more education, it needs discernment, reverence, and love for a society that lifts one another with grace and purpose. Technology and capital are amplifiers — not the end. Africa’s next frontier isn’t in the code or the coin, but in the richness of the human heart. Here’s to hearts that build, give, and rise together. #abudance #thehumanlayer #collective #africa #dream

Happy birthday, and congrats on the remarkable milestones for builders globally. I remember one of our interesting conversations in our shared residency at Tevat during #Zuzalu with you, @liamihorne, with a taste of my special jollof rice.😍 I learned how you and @kartiktalwar kicked off ethglobal from a humble beginning, but with clarity and focus. That was one of the inspirations that pushed us @ayahq_ to anchor the now builder momentum across the African Web3 ecosystem, where every builder is winning purely for the $value they are creating. We are not there yet, but we've seen significant wins after that conversation in May 2023. Ayalabs was built from scratch to give the African builders the global visibility needed. I believe that when @ETHGlobal finally decides to show up in AFRICA, it won't be from a zero-start, but we will be the anchor and catalyst for the collective goal of growing the @ethereum infinite garden. More wins for the Ethglobal team and its mission. 🔆✨🌟🎉👏 #thehumanlayer

Arguably, two mission-driven sons of the motherland born in the same month, same day, with a calling to shape the future, perhaps not to benefit us directly, but surely our children will see a clear pathway with system support to dream a new dream. Ayo and I have complementary roles and are shaping the entire continent in this new era, when technology like @ethereum is not just a tool to build new dreams but also an access to creating economic prosperity in Africa. Some will work for others, and some will be bold enough to dare to dream with audacity and conviction to build value on a shared interest and alignment. @LiskHQ has shown clearly and convincingly that Africa isn't just a PR gimmick but a real value contributor to the global Web3 ecosystem, given the proper framework and structure. The mindshare is real, and the signal will always beat the noise. Lisk continues to intentionally co-create with partners from the ground up. Chapter 2 of the African Plan, which has been in motion since 2017, is activated with the Lisk on Ground in EthSafari 2025. @ayahq_ @Web3Bridge @Web3Clubs @blockfuselabs #thehumanlayer #africa #builders

On the ground with @LiskHQ has been an amazing event. Yesterday, we had conversations about Lisk and their growth plan for Africa, had a session for founders and funding, we spoke about ecosystem and the growth looking at the @ayahq_ and @Web3Bridge contributions and the session with the media guys was a good way to close the day. Looking forward to the remaining days of the experience.
