Wonderful time this week at the @ToposBio and @modal JPM event on "small molecules and big computers!" With their new foundational model Topos-1, the team has been able to characterize disordered proteins in a way that hasn't been achievable before. Instead of just returning one static protein structure, Topos-1 is able to generate tens of thousands of protein conformations in minutes, at full atomic resolution. Thanks Modal for the computational muscle. Terrific to see the pharma partner response to the team's data around intrinsically disordered targets for Parkinson's disease and prostate center. Excited for what's to come!

This was 10 years ago today...the first office of Nervana (founded Feb 25, 2014). Nervana was the first AI chip startup and signaled a sea-change in compute to AI. It represents when compute "went neural". 10 yrs seems long, but the amount of change has been astounding!
