@xwanyex the honest answer is most of it is internal tooling, automation, and features inside existing products, the 100x productivity gain doesn't always produce a 100x visible output, a lot of it just made the same amount of stuff with fewer people

There is massive irony in how AI coding tools are starting to become TOO expensive for many enterprises - after eg Anthropic removed subsidizing AI subscriptions.
We might go from "everyone use AI for everything!" to "you have $300/month AI budget; use your brain for the rest."

Anyone who thinks the average company is going to waste time recreating all this software and hosting it and maintaining it are high on their own supply.
The golden rule of investing is buy when there's blood in the water.
Some of these companies will not survive but so what? Others will adapt and thrive and have the cash and vision to make the pivot.

We’ve reached a new level of delusion with the Microsoft AI CEO saying all white collar labor will be replaced by AI within 18 months. Microsoft should learn how to create a way to search for an email that actually works before claiming they’re going to automate the entire global economy. And while they’re at it, they should come up with a way for companies to use Microsoft products without having to pay a fortune to an IT firm that employs humans to resolve the software issues that come up every hour on the hour.
