In the UK we have shooting ranges where you can fire shotguns.
You can also legally own shotguns providing you get a shotgun licence.
Maybe the guy added some sort of joke in the comments that could have been perceived as a threat? 🤷

@ArcRaidersIntel I have better idea.
There should be safe pocket for the main weapon and a new item that allows you to extract blueprint from a weapon you find.
That way, a raider cannot loot your weapon, but he can extract it's blueprint. Win win for both
