During Covid I got told off for highlighting the fact that pharmacies were willing to step up to the plate to provide vaccines early on. We had been used to doing flu vaccines. One of the issues was due to how the vaccines are stored and multiple doses out of one vial.

However the infrastructure from providing flu jabs was in place. Even after the initial roll out of vaccines I had pharmacies messaging me on here telling me thet they were going through hoops to be able to provide the vaccines when they were finally able to provide them.

Ukraine Battle Map
Ukraine Battle Map@ukraine_map·
All the West needed to do was allow for Ukraine 🇺🇦 to buy missiles to strike two factories, which would cease Iskander-M missile production and motor production Russia is allowed to strike all factories in Ukraine with missiles using dozens of Western components but Ukraine striking a Russian factory producing ballistic missiles striking it’s infrastructure is a major escalation according to the West It’s led Russia to become the #1 ballistic missile producer in the World, producing over 70 Iskander-M ballistic missiles per month, and now they have developed an Iskander-M ballistic missile which could reach 20 NATO countries. It poses the largest missile threat to the West, and nothing is being done about it. Additionally, Ukraine is only being sent a handful of PAC-3 MSE/CRI missiles every month, or sometimes none at all, which means many Ukrainian Patriot systems are either not being used or have a small number of missiles to fire, leading to almost every Iskander launched at a target outside of Kyiv, not being shot down. Russia has realized that Ukraine does not have the air defenses needed to stop Iskander-M missiles and is not allowed the buy missiles to strike the factories. As a result Russia capitalized on the West’s inaction and weakness, and China is helping them out. Instead of sending Ukraine $100 million in long-range missiles to destroy the Iskander-M factory, the West is wasting several billions of dollars to repair infrastructure destroyed by Iskanders and billions of dollars in air defense missiles to shoot them down. Then people in the West complain about why so much money is being spent on Ukraine and the war not changing. Because the West is wasting more money to shoot down the missiles instead of destroying factories for 1/100th of the cost. If this was Israel, the US would’ve bombed every single Iranian missile factory by now, with hundreds of their own Tomahawk missiles and B-2 bombers, but because the US appeases Russia for the past 3 decades, they are okay with allowing the #1 missile threat to NATO and Ukraine to continue growing at an alarming rate.
NOELREPORTS 🇪🇺 🇺🇦@NOELreports

Russia has tripled production of Iskander missiles, with China playing a key role in restoring Russian military manufacturing after Western sanctions. The Center for Strategic and International Studies reported that Beijing became a crucial factor in Russia’s recovery. Trade between China and Russia reached nearly 250 billion dollars in 2024, up from 190 billion in 2022. China’s share of Russia’s foreign trade rose to 33.8 percent, compared to 11.3 percent in 2014. Analysts noted the importance of dual use goods that Russia employs for military purposes. #Russia

Lots of calls for flu vaccination, which Community Pharmacy is ideally placed to deliver. But is there any financial risk to the pharmacy in getting stock, and potentially being left with unused vaccines? Is this a real risk?

🚨 NEW: One of the largest COVID-19 vaccine studies ever (28 MILLION people in France) just dropped. Results? • 74% lower risk of death from severe COVID-19 • 25% lower risk of all-cause mortality • No increase in 4-year mortality • Vaccinated people had lower risk of death from any cause. In short: mRNA vaccines weren’t just safe — they were protective across the board. 🔥📉

This is off the top of my head. These sorts of inefficiencies happen on quite literally a daily basis. Everybody in the system knows this. Everyone. Yet what is the government’s diagnosis? “Juries. They are the problem. Get rid of juries.” It is absolutely mind-boggling.

5/5 At bare minimum, Trump is a traitor, sexual offender, and pedophile/sex-trafficker protector who was and is willing to betray his country to protect himself. What does that say about those still defending him today or tomorrow?

You sir, are one of the great frauds in the group that claims to back Ukraine--but actually serves Trump (and Putin) and helps damage Ukraine. For ages you have been telling lies that Trump would be great for Ukraine, that Trump loves Zelensky, that Trump would be tough on Putin.

This observation will be controversial, but it looks to me that Britain is on the cusp of really massive racial civil unrest that the Starmer government simply lacks the internal security forces and troop numbers to quell once it ignites. It’s going to be a horror show.😱

PRESS RELEASE For Immediate Release 2 April 2025 @IPCNetwork Independent Pharmacy Contractors Network (IPCN) Announces Incorporation as a Cooperative. The Independent Pharmacy Contractors Network (IPCN) is proud to announce that, following years of organic growth and sector-wide impact, we have formally incorporated as a cooperative organisation. IPCN was originally founded as a simple WhatsApp group, a space created by independent contractors, for independent contractors. In the years since, it has grown into a thriving and supportive network that helps community pharmacy owners navigate the financial pressures, regulatory changes, and day-to-day challenges that have defined the sector in recent times. Unlike traditional membership bodies, IPCN has always prioritised peer-to-peer communication, practical support, and direct action. Our strength lies in our shared experience as contractors, our conversations are grounded in lived reality, not bureaucracy. A Cooperative for Contractors With no national representative body truly reflecting the voice and interests of small independent pharmacy owners, IPCN’s role has become increasingly important. After careful deliberation, the admin team agreed that the time had come to move forward with formal incorporation. We are now officially registered as a cooperative, a structure that allows us to: Be owned and governed by our members, with democratic decision-making; Operate for the benefit of our community, not private shareholders or external interests; Ensure that all contributions, from local engagement to national campaigning are recognised and rewarded collectively. This is an important milestone. Being a cooperative means that IPCN will remain accountable, transparent, and fully aligned with the values of independent pharmacy. IPCN’s Role in the Latest CPCF Negotiations IPCN has already proven its value beyond peer support. In early 2025, when it became clear that key decisions around the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF) were being made behind closed doors, IPCN mobilised contractors across the country. We coordinated Freedom of Information requests, engaged MPs, challenged the early messaging around the £300m uplift, and demanded the release of the Government’s own Economic Review, which exposed the true scale of underfunding. Thanks to these actions, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) returned to the table and made a last-minute improved offer, an outcome widely recognised by stakeholders across the sector as being driven by IPCN pressure. Our Aims Moving Forward As a cooperative representing all forms of independent pharmacy from bricks-and-mortar pharmacies to Distance Selling Pharmacies (DSPs) our focus will be on: Enhancing, improving, and enabling collaborative support across the independent pharmacy sector; Protecting the viability of all independent contractors in a rapidly changing healthcare environment; Ensuring that community pharmacy contractors are accurately and fairly represented in national conversations and negotiations; Challenging policy decisions that do not serve the long-term sustainability of our sector; Holding organisations such as Community Pharmacy England (CPE) accountable, so that independent voices are not drowned out by institutional complacency; And, thanks to the breadth of our membership, collaborating with partners in innovative technology to continually improve the community pharmacy offering and modernise how care is delivered on the frontline. Our extensive network means IPCN is not only a voice, but also a solution. We extend our thanks to every contractor who has supported IPCN’s journey so far. We are proud to be moving forward as a cooperative, built by contractors, for contractors.
