The Cowboys are an owner and front office away from a Super Bowl... It's not just about the players... People seem to forget that the culture in Dallas is one of the primary reasons that they lose... Not so much that Jerry doesn't know how to draft because he has definitely drafted good players in the past... Pro Bowl/All Pro type players... But the atmosphere and the culture there just isn't a winning combination.. When your owner sits there and refuses to sign his homegrown players and waits till the very last minute and ends up spending 30% more on each player than he should have... That's a culture problem. When the head coach has no authority over the team other than on game day calling the plays.. That's a culture problem. The owner refusing to admit that his way of doing things in 2025 doesn't work and not hiring a GM to run the team... That's a culture problem. So, while it's entirely possible for the players on the field to win in spite of the owner, it most likely will never happen.. and if it does happen well that's just going to make the owner even more insufferable... Because now he'll be able to sit there and say to you "see? I told you so!!"
