Today, Elon Musk, a trillionaire, pays the same amount into Social Security as someone making $184,500. If we end that absurdity and lift the cap on taxable income, we can make Social Security solvent for 75 years and expand benefits by $2,400. My Social Security bill does that.

At 4am, Senate Republicans gave the greenlight for the IRS to drop ALL investigations into Trump and his family. That means if Trump is evading taxes, we’ll never know. I have a bill to make this illegal. And I won’t stop fighting to get it done.

@RandPaul The problem is we have individuals like yourself that has been a part of house or the senate for YEARS. You have allowed this 40 trillion in debt. Basic fiscal responsibility would have been to not allow the debt to start in the first place. A little late to fix it now.

We are nearly $40 trillion in debt. Working families are stretched thin. And Washington is still sending federal benefits to people who entered this country illegally.  My End Welfare for Non-Citizens Act supports American citizens instead of rewarding those who came to the U.S. illegally. This is basic fiscal responsibility, and it is long overdue.

This is outrageous. Trump wants people already living, working, studying, and raising families here to leave the country and gamble everything on a visa interview overseas? Imagine telling a mom, a student, or the spouse of a U.S. citizen to pack up, leave the country, and just hope they’re allowed back in someday. How many families will be separated?
