Super disappointing designs from Mercedes-Benz lately. The new C-Class doesn’t even look German anymore. And what’s with the recent facelifts of the GLS, GLE and S-Class? They’ve taken away that signature classy and elegant appeal.
Think of it this way - would you really want to see these cars in their museums 30-40 years from now?

Extremely bizarre seeing dudes idolize their possessions, trying to keep them as pretty as possible, buying them for price appreciation.
Should be running your possessions into the ground, striving to have the highest mileage “collectible” worldwide, roadtripping them across state, letting your friends enjoy them, etc.

I refuse to buy anything without soul, specially cars. They might cost more, and be more unpractical. But I will never choose a BMW X5 or similar over a Defender or G wagon.
Life is too short to drive boring cars, make sure you always look back to admire it once parked.
