Mask unavalia ukiingia hiyo theater ndio utatoa ukimaliza jioni, saa hiyo mmepiga kama surgeries 7 with the same mask. Simply because "pesa" ya kununua mask governor alienda kutoa mchango ya kanisa.

@JoelJirane @c_tech Nimeingia paediatric isolation ward KNH nikaambiwa hakuna Masks. Nikauliza why, nikajibiwa in hush tones “ KNH inacollapse”. Those responsible for this dont love our country and its people.

On the iron triangle of health this line basically means public hospitals are more accessible than private hospitals with regards to care which ironically makes them better in terms of quality and more cost effective. So they’re not flawed in their argument. For example it’s no doubt that Mathari National hospital is the best Psychiatric Hospital in Kenya even better than all the private mental hospitals in Kenya because it hits right on all the 3 components of this iron triangle!

😂 This notion of public hospitals have the "best" doctors is the most flawed one. If anything the same work in both settings, only difference is availability of resources.

Ban weekday homework. Kids wake up at 5am, spend the whole day in school, get home at 5pm, then are loaded with more assignments. That is not education but burnout. Let homework be for weekends only, or parents want schools to justify school fees?

@_mpekethu_ Reconstructive surgeries are available post FGM, to improve both the appearance and even the sensation. Consult your plastic surgeon, they learn this in school but the public dont demand to use their knowledge!

This is what daktari is talking about. The "octopus". No one knows how much oxygen gets delivered by this improvisation. No one knows how many babies have sustained hypoxic brain damage from this. But it is common in public hospitals, because it is "better than nothing".

Yup said it too. Doctors should stop improvising. We are in this mess because we accepted to improvise instead of demanding for functioning services.

On the issue about improvisation, there's this case where the stylus of the G16 branula F2 ilivunjikia ndani ya vein. Hapa sasa ilibidi we have to remove it as soon as possible. Nilitafuta tourniquet kwa emergency tray nikakosa. With limited option, ikabidi we improvised by using a clean glove and the Foley catheter to tourniquet the limb F1 It was a success story because we managed to remove the broken piece and saved the situation.

@Imonaar …false positives. So does it make sense to stop and say this patient needs intracompartmental pressures before surgery because it is the objective test? No. That is why also the medicolegal cases are strictly handled by the board, shouldn’t be in court and definitely not public!

@Imonaar Problem is where is the reasonable line to stop improvising. I think we still stick to evidence. Can you make a diagnosis of epidural haematoma clinically no so CT scan is must. Can you make diagnosis of compartment syndrome clinically, yes, albeit a significant false posi…

I have been on the online writing and wifi economy field for more than 13 years now,I can confidently say it’s on its death bed. 80% of the online businesses and flashy lifestyle you see out there from it is scam! Mkiona nakazana na many struggling start ups mjue nikubaya! People are being forced to either go back to traditional employment, those that were wise to start a business or the lazy ones resolve to scam! Ni mbayaaa!!!
