@yawncaballero @CTio @Kecyy I don’t know if you ever drive. First of a yielding left lane turn arrow blinks. Second, usually you don’t see two left lanes yielding to oncoming traffic traffic. It’s either red stop or green to go.

@kingQkofi @CTio @Kecyy Wrong, those lanes also have a green arrow light which wasn’t on at that time. Regular green light in a left hand turning lane has to yield to oncoming traffic who also have a green.

@CTio @Kecyy The left 2 lanes is for left turn only so the Honda run a red light. There’s no way a left lane turns green and the opposite traffic turns green as well. The McLaren had the right of way.

@Kecyy It didn’t look like the McLaren had a protected left turn arrow, just a green light which means the woman who hit him also had a green light and it was up to the people turning to yield to her going straight thru the intersection.

There is no apartheid in Ghana or anywhere else on this continent. Supporting South Africa’s struggle was an act of African solidarity, not a favour to be weaponised years later. Using that history to justify present-day displacement or to guilt-trip nations is something we should reject outright. Forcing people out of their homes is wrong, full stop. Leadership also means accountability. When that is absent, so too is credibility.
