One thing that I'll always defend about soviet union, it took animation as a medium of art and not just a Genre for childrens intertaininment. Soviet animation had very small budgets but experimented with very unique styles. I will forever grieve it's loss.

“Card counting” is litterally how the game should be played but casinos are ment to rob you so they make it sound like a bad thing

@CEO_87 Worst part is if you count the cards, you might realize that the casino's cheating with duplicate cards(Obvious) or some cards being removed (Subtle). Automated machines can also do this or dealers being given "duked" decks. I feel bad for honest dealers...

@CEO_87 This is incorrect. The game is never meant to be kept track of, fundamentally you need to have a random card from the deck coming out of the shoe to produce the hands. That’s it. Keeping track forces the casino to use automatic shufflers which keep all cards in the drawing pool.

@RuiAVELINO2 @JefferyDoomer @BENZOTOOIE the vast majority of casinos consider paying attention to the cards you're handed and making predictions on what cards the dealer is gonna pull next, to be cheating or "Card Counting" or as everyone else calls it, "Understanding How The Game Is Played"

At one time, MTG was grounded in the idea that the cards represented two wizards dueling with spells. The UB sets are completely divorced from that foundation, leaving the flavor of the game adrift in a capitalist hellscape. I genuinely dont think its a fixable problem.

The mirrored callbacks are generally interesting looking, but this feels so convoluted and loses all the elegance Dark Confidant is known for and ends up feeling fully disconnected from it. Ends up working more as a showcase for modern over-designing.
