When Americans are losing jobs to Indians, what is the point of installing statues in America? How does it help America and Americans in their day-to-day lives? If you are extremely wealthy, even if earned through questionable means, do something for the society that gave you a U.S. visa, Green Card, or citizenship. Over more than a decade, I have seen little to no meaningful contribution from many Indians (regardless of their immigration status) to America. Instead, the damage, especially in the H-1B system due to caste-based hiring, is significant.
