@VoksPop_music @monysan_to @Bulaloris2 @jas_d_barbie You’re replying a lay person and In your mind you think he’ll understand the difference between sperm and semen. Even if you were correct (although you’re not)you didn’t communicate effectively. HIV virus can actually attach to the surface of sperm cells.

Why EFCC Operatives Visited UUTH The Tuesday, May 12, 2026, visit of operatives of the Uyo Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, UUTH, in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State was informed by the need to authenticate a medical report presented by a suspect under remand by Justice M.A Onyetunu of the Federal High Court, Uyo, for allegedly defrauding multiple micro finance banks, including University of Uyo Micro Finance Bank. The suspect had presented a medical report which required authentication by the UUTH management. The Commission wrote two different letters, dated March 11, 2026 and April 20, 2026, to the hospital management to this effect without receiving any response. The Investigating Officer handling the matter took the further step of visiting the hospital to enquire about the status of the request. Still, no response. As a last resort, operatives of the Commission visited the Chief Medical Director of the hospital on Tuesday to make further enquiries, only to be locked in with a false alarm and subjected to unprovoked attack by misguided staff of the facility who pelted them with stones and other dangerous objects. While within the hospital, the CMD reportedly directed that gates of the facility be shut, making it impossible for any lawful enquiry to be made. Police authorities in Akwa Ibom State advised the CMD to open the hospital gates to enable the operatives exit the premises peacefully but the entreaties were turned down. In spite of the hostility and provocation, there was no breakdown of law and order as the operatives exercised restraint and professionally made their ways out of the hospital premises without disrupting its activities. Enquiries bordering on operational engagements of the Commission are lawful. It is therefore necessary to remind the public and corporate bodies that they are obligated to cooperate with the agency in such circumstances. Contrary action could be deemed as obstruction, which is criminal with attendant legal consequences.

@NurainYelu @ShaheedBala You must have clerked or diagnosed together with the physician to come to the conclusion that the investigations are unreasonable. If you want to understand the rationale behind a physician’s lab investigations mayb you should just pick a jamb form and then study medicine.

Once litigation becomes well established in our hospitals, everybody will start behaving well. Imagine an MLS losing his/her license because they refused to run investigations requested by the physician because they assume the patient could not afford it.

Dr. Shina The Beard, I understand that you might honestly mean well (or just be distinctively wicked). But I dare say that you know nothing about the vaccines you're canvassing for. And it's not your fault, you were not taught or trained to know. You were trained to trust other people's work, and push their wickedness into people's bodies.

If not for the white man that discovered Rhesus factor, Blood groups, and Genotype. We were literally satisfied with the fact that children who died on birth or still birth were cult babies. That children who kept crying for prolonged period, were all cult babies that were going back to where they belonged. That is where the culture of “Naming” came from, that you should wait for 7-9 days and see if the child will live or die before you give it a name. The white man announces the name of his/her child immediately, here we wait 8 days 😸😸😸😸. Science solved Rhesus for us and we have injections that help solve this issue once identified. Your grandparent gave birth to 9 children and only 1 survived, this was part of why many had to marry multiple women just to beat the odds. Today you can give birth to 10 and all 10 would survive if you have money and because of medical discovery. But some idiots believe the whites wants to kill them and eradicate their population 😸😸😸😸😸😸😸

Accuser: Deyemi raped me. Some Women: That’s it. Deyemi is a rapist. Some Men: What happened? When did it happen? Where? Some Women: Why are you asking questions? He’s a man. Believe her. Some Men: We’re asking because false accusations happen. We need to be sure before labeling someone a rapist. Some Women: She’s crying. That’s proof enough. All men are rapists anyway. Some Men: No. Ask questions. Get facts. Make sure we’re not falsely accusing someone of something this serious. Some Women: If you’re asking questions, you’re siding with a rapist. Your only response should be to call him out.
DeyemiTheActor@_deyemi

When women say "STOP rap*ng women"... Your response cannot be "what abt men/children" neither can it be "what abt false accusers" nor anything else. Your reply MUST only be YES!!! You can start your own separate conversation abt anything else at another time/place. #EndRape

Let me paint a scenario for you. A young woman, about 28 years old, arrives at the general hospital in the dead of night, let's say at around 2:00AM screaming in agony. Everyone in the hospital can hear her screams. She's been in labor for over 48 hours. The first 24hrs was at home, pushing with all her might, but nothing happened. Then she was rushed to a traditional birth home where she spent another 24hrs with no progress. Her family finally rushes her in after the local midwife says this one pass her power. Our woman is a first timer and her husband and family believes that traditional methods are king! After all when did foreign medicine even come to nigeria? Doctors that doesn't know more than money and operations! So they come and they meet me, the medical officer on call, fresh off a 36hr shift because of manpower shortage. I examine her and an alarm goes off in my head. Half of my finger couldn't even go in as the baby's head is stuck and occupying the entire pelvis. Chaii. I examined the tummy and it was tender with the classic two hill shape. Chaii again. This is Classic obstructed labor. It's a condition where the baby is too big for her pelvis, so the head gets stuck while trying to pass. Her cervix is fully dilated with mighty contractions, but progress? Zero and yet she keeps screaming. I check the baby heart rate and it's already dropping dangerously low too. She's exhausted, sweating profusely, her lower abdomen is tender and her BP is 140/90. I know what needs to happen if I don't want to lose her. Emergency C-Section! But it's 2:30AM now and I'm just a bloody MO. So, I pick up the phone and call the senior registrar, who recently left after back-to-back calls. I'm not surprised when the number is switched off. I would switch off too after 72hrs on duty. I call the consultant living 30 kilometers away. "Take her to theater and start the procedure, I'll meet you there" the consultant says angrily, "I'll be there in 15 minutes." For my mind, I'm like, "do you want to fly?" Anyway, I start prepping: IV fluids, antibiotics, and oxygen. I run around taking samples, informing theater and getting blood ready. By 3:00 AM, by some luck, we get her to the theater, but the anesthetist is not picking. After finally picking, she says she's moonlighting at a private clinic 15 km away to make ends meet, so she called her colleague to cover up for her. Another 20 minutes wasted. Finally, the replacement arrives, annoyed at being dragged from his home in the night. We wheel the patient into the theater, but then the generator went off. So we begged a nurse to help with phone touch light as I scrub in with another nurse. I made the Incision and immediately ran into disaster. Uterine rupture and bood everywhere! Chaiii! By some miracle, The baby is alive but blue. So, we deliver the baby and hand it over to the nurse to resuscitate On the table, I'm still in trouble. Patient is bleeding like tap water. BP crashes to 70/40. We need blood urgently. I commence repair while my assistant scrubs out and runs to the blood bank but they only have two unit available She takes them and runs back. We squeeze them in. By this time, I've applied clamps and bleeding has stopped. We transfuse what we have, pack the uterus, and give all the uterotonics in the world: oxytocin, misoprostol, ergometrine. Nada. She goes into shock. The consultant arrives at 4:45 AM, her pulse is thready. We are losing her! We attempt an hysterectomy as a last resort, but she flatlines midway. Resuscitation efforts for 30 minutes nothing. The baby survives, but with mild brain damage. The family wails outside, blaming "evil spirits." After the surgery, I sit in the corner, head in hands, knowing this could have been prevented with timely intervention, better staffing, functional equipment, and a system that doesn't chew up its doctors. The following week, I resign as I've seen enough. This is a fictional tale, but the reality isn't far off.
