My wife's dog had a bad fall that almost broke his spine. Luckily MRI shows no surgery needed but there is some neurological issues where he cannot fully use his back leg until he rests. Strict 6 week hardly no movement and full bed rest in his kennel is required right now.

Apparently, Utah has dropped the idea of using Apple/Google Wallet for digital ID, which would have been seamless, NFC capable, and free to use. Instead, Utah signed up with a company that charges $2/year. Furthermore, the app sucks. Good job, CO, AZ, and MD.

@Roboticadi Also, Bungie did use the logic of extending it by a day as a way to take breaks, etc. For those of you starting on Sat, it’s still just as hard (only 24 hours) and you don’t get the extra day break. The streamers that start Friday prob don’t need the extra day anyway

@kingsleymac I can definitely see where you’re coming from. Do you think because it’s been extended you would want to give contest a try?

If folks are genuinely getting pissed about contest mode going to 48 hours, I got one question. Why?? Bungie have been going down the more accessible route for ages, as they rightly should. 24 hours was a grind. It was tough. Even more so when you’re in a different timezone -

I know I am totally biased also and unless bungie could take a survey of a larger population we would never know but I run a destiny community and so far there are 5x more people affected by having to push back non contest mode than the people that are happy it got extended

@Benjjjyy Well of course, but extending contest mode by a day does not make it accessible to all

Friendly reminder that endgame activities should be accessible to ALL skill/experience levels of Destiny 2 players for them to try, but that does NOT mean that endgame activities should be successfully completed by everyone who attempts them.

@kingsleymac Hence the reason I said orders of magnitude of people have Saturday off. It’s still going to affect some people, but it’ll be much, much fewer

Some of you guys are forgetting taking off a Friday isn’t always a viable option for the working class. Orders of magnitude more people have Saturday’s off by default. If Bungie is insistent on having launch days on Fridays, this is a fantastic change.

@Skarrow9 Yeah ignoring the fact that it already messes up those wanting to do non contest mode, I have no opinion and think it’s fine they extended for those that are doing that. Do you all think contest mode should stay to one day (Sat) or maybe even two days Sat-Sun as other options?
