The @uncknowledge episode with Ben Shapiro is a wholly inspiring watch. @p_m_robinson is a great interviewer - credit to him - & he set us all up to watch a man detail out his heroic journey to worldwide intellectual superstardom in a 1-hour show. Just a serious podcast conversation brimming with substance and integrity. Great watch.

The US & the UK are the top two source countries for remittance inflows to Nigeria. The third is perhaps surprising — it’s Cameroon. In fact, Cameroon to Nigeria is the largest intra-African remittance corridor across the continent. Nigeria isn't just a top destination for intercontinental remittances — it's the dominant hub for intra-African flows too. Here's a look at the top five corridors: #1 - Cameroon to Nigeria #2 - Niger to Nigeria #3 - South Africa to Zimbabwe #4 - Nigeria to Ghana #5 (tie) - Ghana to Nigeria #5 (tie) - Benin to Nigeria In total, ~$20B in remittances are sent within Africa annually. And that's a significant prize that fintechs & banks across the continent and beyond are increasingly targeting. Just this week, for example, Tanzanian fintech @NALAmoney and British-Estonian money transfer platform @Wise both announced securing International Money Transfer Operator licenses from the Central Bank of Nigeria. --- Via Afridigest Intelligence — Cut through complexity & act with confidence in Africa's growth markets: afridigest.com/intelligence

When choosing a belted jacket or overcoat, position the belt at your natural waist. It enhances your silhouette and ensures the coat falls elegantly.

Poverty is solved by prosperity, and prosperity is built by entrepreneurs. If a country doesn’t make it easy for entrepreneurs to start and grow businesses, it will remain stuck in poverty.

As a man, the more successful you become, the more important it is to be sexually disciplined. Nothing has ruined more successful men throughout history than lack of sexual discipline. It's been the same story for millennia. With success comes opportunity and with opportunity comes temptation. It's hard to fathom unless you've experienced it or seen it up close. If you can't handle it, learn how to. But if you can't, don't get married and drag your wife and kids through the shame, pain, and embarrassment.

Gentle parenting is based on the delusion that babies can understand and respond reasonably to logic and reason. In a way it’s child abuse because it’s expecting children to act as adults. Whereas children need to be treated like children to thrive.

You’re going to fail. I fail. Everybody does. What matters is what you learn. Experience is failing once. Stupidity is failing twice. Get smarter with every loss.

Don’t fall into the trap of mourning a life you can still live. If you’re the sort of person thats regularly surprised at how well things go, that’s maybe a good indication that you’re allowed to believe in yourself more.
