I want to be seen, I don’t want to be trusted.
I know where to find trust

I think one of the biggest mistakes on the internet… is confusing attention with trust. Attention gets you seen. Trust is what keeps people coming back.

A2A vs MCP
As AI agents become more capable, you’ll hear these two acronyms everywhere:
MCP and A2A and here’s the difference.
MCP (Model Context Protocol)
Think of MCP as the USB-C for AI.
It gives an AI model a standardized way to connect to tools, databases, APIs, file systems, IDEs, and other resources.
Instead of writing a custom integration for every application, an AI can use MCP to discover available tools and interact with them through a common interface.
Examples:
• Read a GitHub repository
• Query a database
• Search documentation
• Access local files
• Call internal company APIs
MCP answers:
“How does an AI connect to and use tools?”
A2A (Agent-to-Agent)
A2A focuses on communication between AI agents.
Instead of one agent doing everything, multiple specialized agents collaborate.
For example:
• A Research Agent gathers information.
• A Planning Agent creates a strategy.
• A Coding Agent writes the implementation.
• A Testing Agent validates it.
• A Review Agent checks quality.
Each agent has a specific role and shares work with the others.
A2A answers:
“How do multiple AI agents coordinate and work together?”
The easiest way to remember it
MCP → AI ↔ Tools
An AI talks to databases, APIs, files, browsers, and software.
A2A → AI ↔ AI
Multiple agents communicate, delegate, and collaborate to complete complex tasks.
Together, they unlock powerful AI systems.
Imagine this workflow:
A Planning Agent delegates a coding task to a Coding Agent using A2A.
The Coding Agent then accesses GitHub, your database, and documentation through MCP.
One protocol enables collaboration.
The other enables capability.
The future of AI isn’t one super agent.
It’s specialized agents working together while seamlessly using the tools around them.
