@LeightspeedM i'm just genuinely confused that something i do on my own personal time lost me my job, especially when my actions did absolutely nothing to harm the relationship between my company and theirs. it felt transactional.

@kirabyte_ That's the most baffling reasoning for being released I've ever heard... and my own release was dumb (albeit a predictable type of dumb). I hope some people can come through for you! Hopefully the new job comes through quickly and is a better environment for you!
