🧵In July 2024 I broke news that the BMA was planning to vote on a motion to "disavow" the Cass Review & work with others to oppose implementation of its recommendations. Nearly two years' later, the union has officially dropped its opposition, after conducting its own review.

Met Police Commander Mark Rowley has made dishonest & reckless comments in suggesting any of the Palestine marches have sought to pass near synagogues. As PSC Deputy Director Ryvka Barnard explains, “None of our marches or proposed march routes has ever targeted a synagogue or even directly passed one along its route, and the Met Police knows that.”
