@ESL_fairy I did in Grade 9, also in Grade 10. It's a skill I still use today, and I'm nearly 60.

@Theholisticpsyc Yes. I was betrayed quite suddenly one day three years ago. It was as if he turned into another person. I went through weeks of shock as you described, while I watched him pack up. He said I enjoyed being mopey.

@howie_hua I thought 32 x 10 is 320. 5 is half of 10 so half of 320 is 160. 320 + 160 = 480.

@Theholisticpsyc Do you need to have a fairy tale relationship? I’d chased that dream and settled, twice, feeling secure yet disappointed. I’m over it.

@howie_hua There are 12 30s in 360 (12x30=360). There are two 15s in each 30. So 2 x 12 = 24.

@MikeJToronto It was already there. If I'm not mistaken, it was in the presentation section of the writing expectations.

@howie_hua The difference between 24 and 35 is 11. 124 - 24 - 11 = 89.

@howie_hua Circuitous... but if 20 cookies is $36, then 10 cookies will be $18 (36/2). That makes each cookie $1.80 (18/10). Six times $1 = $6. 6 x $0.80 is $4.80 (using 6x8=48). $6 + $4.80 = $10.80

@Theholisticpsyc I was just thinking about being invisible... and deferring to others in relationships. As one of six, the others acted out, or were lost themselves. I appeared to be good, so I was targeted by jealous siblings.

The lost child is usually: - very quiet, shy, or introverted - highly intelligent - highly sensitive - distant from the families chaos or issues - spends a lot of time alone in their room - gets little attention from parent figures - most obedient

If you were the 'lost child' you were easy and quiet. You learned to just blend in and cause no issues. Here's Why:

@Theholisticpsyc 2 Questions: do you write the same four sentences every day for 30 days? I don’t think people are mad. I think they don’t like me or won’t like me once they know me. Is this hyper vigilance?

You’re safe. No one is mad at you. You can stop assuming. You’re not that small child in trouble, who can’t relax. The hypervigilance is from your past. You’re safe, now.

Such a treat to meet with the @CBCKidsNews team! We discussed current events, examined examples of fake news, & learned the steps required to produce a news story. I think we have some budding journalists in grade 5! @HighlandHtsPS #NewsInTheClassroom

@lisadamps @ESL_fairy Just sit in a circle and talk about your feelings. This worried me. Were we doing triage for mental health services? Very uncomfortable with the potential consequences...
