@British_Airways Is allowed on the plain. Even after arguing it was water based and oil paint, we had to leave all the paint behind. Our luggage is full of canvases, brushes, palettes, etc and no material to work with. Pointless trip

@British_Airways Is allowed on the plain, even after us asking specifically are you sure about water based paint? Our luggage is full of canvases, scores of brushes, palettes, etc. Now we just landed in Malaga for an art week full of projects and no material to work with thanks to misinformation

@British_Airways It was a mix of water based and oil paint. 9 kilos in total. We did board the plain but they made it very clear the paints weren't boarding and we should dispose of them correctly. The check in gentleman asked for advice to other colleagues and all of them said no kind of paint

We were very happy about boarding a @British_Airways flight at London City airport for a week painting retreat in Malaga. We ended up having to leave behind 9 kilos of artist paint because of the stubbornness and misinformation of the check-in guys. Our trip is now pointless.
