There’s a level of craftsmanship to any art that you can objectively improve on but there’s plenty of music that defies that an ppl like it (idk hobo Johnson for example). A lot of ppl think dubstep is just random noises, Non contemporary jazz gets that rep too

I mean there is some objectivity like the mixing quality, rhythmic timing, chord progression etc. at the very least do you at least accept there are some objective metrics? And do you accept that there are some objectively bad music, like there are songs out there that are just random sounds mashed together.

@hiltsus Yeah i specifically watch fantano because I like his analysis of music in general and he usually points out something I don’t think of or hear at times. But he so consistent I can usually hear an album and know what he’s gonna rate it before I click on the video lmao
