Statins drugs are not needed by anyone. They obstruct your essential cholesterol and CoQ-10, and that damage impairs heart and brain and immune function, and increases cancer risk. If you know anyone on a statin, they need this article ASAP. open.substack.com/pub/unbekoming…

Me: high cholesterol since I was a teenager Me: family history of heart disease. All the sides. Doctors: you are thin, don’t smoke and your ldl/hdl ratio is good… 10 years later: a ridiculously expensive concierge doctor sends me for a calcium score. It’s 369. 90somthingth percentile for women my age. High Lp(a)… So?!? Statins?

62-year-old patient comes in for a second opinion. Total cholesterol: 278 mg/dl LDL: 192 mg/dl 😱 His primary doctor panicked and shipped him off to a cardiologist. Cardiologist wants a statin and a plant-based diet. I looked at the full picture and here is what I found… 🧵

UPDATE, 3 years later: I no longer feel this way. I really regret not having more kids. If you think you can handle it - mentally & financially, & are confident in your skills as a parent, just keep having kids. I'm still in my 30s and am 2/3 done having 4 kids at home :(
Chris Koerner@mhp_guy

I had all 4 of my kids in my 20s. Did it set my career back? Maybe? They take a ton of time. But I'll be 47 when they're all out of the house and that's pretty baller.

As a parent, I never imagined that one of the biggest factors in choosing a university would be the level of Jew-hatred on campus. Yet here we are. Our kids work their whole lives to earn their place at these schools. They should be choosing universities based on their passions — not doing risk assessments on how safe it is to be Jewish.

🧵 Farming robots are no longer experimental. They're deployed, profitable, and reshaping agriculture. In orchards, vineyards, vegetable fields, and beyond, they're tackling labor shortages, precision spraying, and chemical reduction at scale. This is how robotics is quietly becoming the backbone of next-gen agriculture [Save this thread for later 📌]

Genuine question: I started taking tirzepatide to lose some weight. Which I did. But I also did experience less knee pain (bone on bone arthritis) and resolved addictive behaviors. But I completely lost my appetite and I don’t want to lose more weight. But I want the other benefits. Do you just force feed yourself?!?

I used to teach that osteoarthritis was "wear and tear" — lose weight, take painkillers, wait for a knee replacement. A study just published in Cell Metabolism proved that wrong. Semaglutide (Ozempic) didn't just reduce joint pain in osteoarthritis patients — it reversed cartilage damage. MRI showed new cartilage growth in weight-bearing knee areas after just 24 weeks. The key finding: this wasn't about weight loss. Pair-fed mice that lost the same weight showed zero cartilage protection. Semaglutide appears to work by reprogramming chondrocyte metabolism — switching cells from inefficient glycolysis (2 ATP) to oxidative phosphorylation (up to 36 ATP). Translation: it's a metabolic fix, not a mechanical one. Osteoarthritis affects 600 million people. We've been treating it as a structural problem. It's a metabolic one. Full breakdown coming on the Health Longevity Secrets podcast. #GLP1 #Ozempic #Osteoarthritis #MetabolicHealth #Longevity Source: sciencealert.com/semaglutide-ma…

@jackmoses0 Resounding YES. Dancing in the grocery store aisles to bad elevator music, talking to random people on elevators, definitely laughing at your own jokes because who tf cares if you’re funny, you find you funny. Delight is THE answer. And it’s free.

A good sign of success is if you're laughing and giggling all throughout the day. Everything is fun. Life is absurd. You respond to hate with jokes. You dance on the edge of what's acceptable to text your business partners. You send the meme you'd get cancelled for if it went public. You see God's workings all throughout the day and you laugh at his comedy. There's no need to be ultra serious all the time. Things will go better when you approach them with lightness and laughter. Even if something is "high stakes," don't fall into the illusions of seriousness, pressure, and attachment. These are programs. Dance through the "high stakes" situation with a playful spirit. We're all just grown-up kids pretending to be serious anyway. You will be healthier, have higher energy, and become more successful when you start gigglemaxxing and jestermaxxing.

The public benefitted from huge arbitrage during the decades when school teacher was one of the only professions into which women were permitted. All of the predecessors of the highly intelligent career-oriented women who now serve as lawyers and corporate executives were once teachers. Their career ambitions were artificially capped and routed into the formation of the minds of the next generation. All that residual female brilliance is now fully washed out of the system, which is now populated by the lowest performers among college graduates, with exactly the results in student performance you would expect.
Crémieux@cremieuxrecueil

Teachers average among the least intelligent university graduates. In a given year, the lowest-scoring groups on the GRE, SAT, and ACT are usually those pursuing degrees in education.

@MikeBales Correction: we cuddle for approximately 42 seconds until I get too hot. Then exactly this happens with the addition of my existential crisis that the love of my life can fall asleep also in 42 seconds and how I can still love him despite this audacity.

My coworker ended her five-year marriage over something most people would probably call “small.” She told me that in their home, she naturally took on the chores. She cooked. She did the laundry. She kept things running. It wasn’t something they formally discussed... it just became the routine. And she went along with it. Then she got sick. Not just a light cold... the kind where your body feels heavy and even standing up is exhausting. For once, she couldn’t function the way she usually did. That evening, her husband came home, saw the laundry basket, and separated his clothes from hers. He washed only his. Later, he made himself dinner, plated it, and ate. When she asked if he could make something simple for her too, he replied, “I’m exhausted. I don’t have the energy.” She said it wasn’t even the words that hurt. It was the absence of instinct. The absence of care. The fact that helping her didn’t occur to him automatically the way serving him had always occurred to her. That night, lying there sick and hungry, she realized she wasn’t in a partnership. She was in an arrangement where her labor was expected, but his effort was optional. People think love disappears in dramatic arguments or explosive fights. But sometimes it fades in moments like that... when someone watches you struggle and chooses convenience over compassion.

R.I.P lead gen agencies. I just replaced a $100k/year lead gen team with Claude agents. (all working while I slept) Most founders spend $10k-$20k/month on marketing teams that work 9-5. Most agencies spend $30k+/mo on outreach. Last night I built AI agents that run 24/7: - Lead Magnet Engineer → builds viral lead magnets in minutes - Social Media Expert → writes scroll-stopping hooks - Creative Director → generates on-brand visuals - Research Analyst → finds trending topics in your niche - Performance Tracker → analyses and maps out content The results after 24 hours: - 32 lead magnets ready to launch - 60 days of content mapped out - 50+ scroll-stopping visuals created While I was sleeping. Follow + reply CLAUDE and I’ll send the full system + setup.
