@MartinSLewis do you find that there is a rising number of retailers that are unfairly losing chargebacks with little or no evidence from the banks? I believe it is due to the bank marking their own homework, the system needs to be fairer.

@AndyatAuto It comes down to trust. With so many alternate agendas and profit chasing, the people don't know what or who to trust anymore. The illusion is that you can change someone's mind back to trusting again, social media is it's own worst enemy.

I’ve been musing on the views of climate change deniers and the anti-net zero sentiment of late. In-spite of the fact that 97% of climate change scientists support the fact of adverse climate change consequences, the need to adopt EV is still resisted by many. So another undeniable consequence of the Internal Combustion Engine is pollution of air quality. Air pollution from cars and other vehicles is a significant contributor to global health problems, particularly respiratory and cardiovascular diseases. Estimates suggest that vehicle-related air pollution contributes to around 300,000–400,000 deaths annually worldwide. These figures are part of the larger statistic for air pollution, which the World Health Organization (WHO) attributes to 7 million deaths per year globally from outdoor and indoor air pollution combined. Vehicle emissions are a substantial fraction of outdoor air pollution, particularly in urban areas, where they release harmful pollutants like nitrogen oxides (NOx), particulate matter (PM), and ground-level ozone. The exact number varies depending on region, vehicle regulations, and population density, but transportation remains a major factor in the global burden of air pollution-related deaths. Not all air pollution deaths can be eliminated by only EV adoption, as EVs also emit PM2.5 but this is substantially reduced by Euro7 regulations and new technologies around brake dust capture (see previous Tweets). So I’m curious - we all want action taken against dumping sewage into our rivers - why therefore do the same people living in an urban environment find it so hard to support widespread EV adoption to address the pollutants needlessly being pumped into our air?

Anyone else had issues with compelling evidence of wrongdoing on behalf of customers and chargebacks but #bankofscotland still rule in their favor. So not accepting @BankofScotland customers as they don't deal with disputes fairly. Considering complaint to the @financialombuds
