My Book of Books where I write down all the books I read. Such a great way to remember them all and how they punctuate certain periods of my life. It is now 10 years old.

@GillianKeel2 @DalgetySusan Depending on the medication repeat prescriptions aren't an option. I take three prescription drugs and one none. I have a repeat script but because two have steroids in they can't just send it out every month I have to physically reorder it. I've been on these for years

@DalgetySusan Shouldn't you be on a repeat prescription basis that can be collected direct from the pharmacy every month? That's how mine works.

Why are our GP services so broken? I have high blood pressure - I take 4 different medicines to control it. I am off tomorrow for a week in Greece and needed a new ‘script’. I ordered it online at 9am on Monday - it takes a maximum of 48 hours to process. I have just been to pick it up but it hasn’t been processed because of GP illness and ‘other reasons’. I had to assert that I needed it today to a receptionist who was at best unhelpful and worst down right rude and with absolutely no empathy. I am to call back after 3 today and it “may” be processed. But there is no guarantee. I am now sitting outside, in tears, because I was made to feel as if I was a burden, a demanding patient, someone who was a nuisance. High blood pressure medicine has to be taken every day otherwise your risk of stroke or heart attack increases significantly. But hey, who cares?
