I’m not opposed to adjustments to social security. Raise the age slightly is fine but you can’t do it to anyone who is already within 15-20 years of retirement…they made plans and participated in the system they were given…

@dangitman50 @MetamateDaz Oh ok so they should just actually still have to work hard for starvation wages That’s what a piece of shit imbecile like Dan thinks. His brand of socially-abetted psychopathy is the reason why every person who thinks like him is completely worthless to humanity.

The minimum wage in Pennsylvania is $7.25 an hour. A regular Auntie Anne’s soft pretzel at the mall is $7.29. Imagine telling someone an hour of their time is worth less than a pretzel.

@RepDavids Do you understand capitalism? They could price tickets at 50 cents each and the secondary market would rise to the price that people are willing to pay.

The World Cup in KC is a historic event, and it should be accessible to as many people as possible. That’s why I am calling on FIFA to make tickets affordable, so all Kansans have a chance to participate. kansascity.com/sports/fifa-wo…

I’m an old white dude and because of that I can walk by ICE agents without any fear, but I won’t support one dime going to ICE until everyone can do the same as me without fear no matter their skin color or accent. If you disagree you’re just racist. There’s no other explanation.

The biggest debate on finance X: Should you put extra money toward your mortage? The math answer: If your interest rate is lower than the return you could get investing the money, don't put extra towards your mortgage. The real answer: If it makes you happy, do it.

@NFL @RapSheet 37-year-old washed TE who dropped off a cliff getting $18M/year is the biggest robbery in Chiefs history. Congrats on paying nostalgia and Taylor Swift tickets instead of building a real roster 😂🥱

@BarackObama The pre-existing condition clause was a win. But let’s not call this access to healthcare. It’s access to insurance. Insurance that is often not accepted by doctors. So now my insurance costs skyrocketed and it takes me months to find a doc that accepts it. Awful.

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time. The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.

Can we, for the love of God, put a little more love, pay, and support on air traffic controllers? How many more accidents at major airports do we need to see with how many lives lost until we give these vital people the resources and support to keep us all safe?

@basedseattle Lies. People in Atlanta post hour waits. Truth is, they have always said arrived 2 hours early. Why is this a problem? Manufactured for political purposes. However the agents should be paid.

TSA wait times in Phoenix are less than 20 minutes. How is it possible that they are 90+ minutes in places like Atlanta and New Orleans? This shouldn't be hard to figure out.

TSA is largely funded by a tax on every ticket. It adds $5.60 to every one-way ticket & $11.20 to roundtrips. Everyone in line right now is already paying the TSA fee, even for free reward travel. The government has previously diverted that money to the Treasury. Pay the agents.

I can't stop laughing. Mayor Mamdani is proposing the estate tax be raised to 50% and to kick in at anything above $750k. Boy, are you New Yorkers about to FIND OUT. I'd move NOW. What dummies you are for electing this communist.

🚨 PRINTER INK COSTS $32,000 A GALLON — AND PEOPLE ARE REALIZING THEY’VE BEEN GETTING RIPPED OFF "This should be illegal." A man at Target picks up a single black ink cartridge. Price? $63. Then he checks how much is actually inside. About half an ounce. Do the math. That puts this stuff at $30,000+ per gallon. More than a used mobile home. For printer ink. And here’s the part that has people pissed: You don’t get a choice. The printer is built to force you into their system. Cheaper ink? Blocked. Refill it yourself? Disabled. Wrong cartridge? Printer won’t even work. So you buy the printer… and then you’re stuck paying whatever they decide to charge. Over. And over. And over again. A locked system where the product is cheap and the refill is where they get you. If something costs more than gold and you’re forced to buy it… how is that not a scam?
