@Scavacini777 CCTV has been around since the 40s. If you look up the tech used here you might be slightly impressed. SSTV using only 6.5 watts of power was sent through already operating channels (deep space network) which repeated to broadcast television.

The problem is the assumption that spending a lot of time in school makes you smart and that not spending a lot of time in school makes you mid. How smart can these people really be If they can’t even find a job and support themselves? Results speak for themselves. The OP doesn’t have the humility required to even consider that their premise may be wrong. I’ve interviewed and hired a lot of academics over the years. The conversation usually goes the same way. They list of their long list of credentials, and then I respond with the same question every time: ”Great! So what can you do?” The typical response is silence with a bewildered look.

Someone called into the Dave Ramsey show asking if he should take out a mortgage on a first-time home when he already has $1.2 million in liquid investments. Married guy with kids from Pittsburgh. Makes $70,000; wife makes $55,000 a year. Wife wants to stay home with the kids. Looking at a $350,000 to $380,000 home in Eastern Pennsylvania. Both Dave and John Delony were insistent on paying cash for the new home. Caller would have to pay capital gains taxes on the investment sales (they inherited about $500,000 and grew it to $1.2 million) and would maybe lose out on the mortgage interest deduction. Caller seemed to know this too but Ramsey and John were adamant that he pay cash for the home to avoid having a mortgage.

Ramsey is the MD of the financial world. A person goes to their doctor and says they have acid reflux. Rather than say "lets fix your diet and habits" they just prescribe a PPI. The doctor knows most people are stupid and will not do the right thing. Ramsey assumes everyone is an idiot, can you really blame him?

The problem is the audacity of benefiting from Act 60 and then treating identity as something that follows automatically from residence.
